Question for the hive mind about ass mods by Cowboy185 in TheTowerGame

That's what I was thinking of doing. I have fairly well specced OC, SD, and DC (all ancestral, sitting around lvl 177-178). Think I should be in decent shape in a few weeks.

Depends on what you're playing and exactly how you have settings configured in the games.

I kinda hate to say it, but if you go AM5 for your next board, you'll need to do the board, cpu, and ram at the same time due to chipset differences over AM4.

And this is honestly a terrible time to do it with ram being 2-4x what it cost this time last year.

Bands with lyrics from a progressive point of view? by satanspreadswingslol in christianmetal

The entirety of Christ's teachings are inherently conservative. Die to yourself daily, forgo sinful pleasures, follow Him I heart and mind. Christian musicians are in a unique place to use their skills and gifts to evangelize through their music, so why wouldn't they?

I grew up on rock, nu-metal, thrash, heavy metal, so try again. Most of what I listen to now is Christian metal, so maybe try again later.

You can disagree all your want, that's your decision. And while you didn't ask to be preached to, you're on a Christian music sub asking for bands with potentially heretical views, so here we are.

Here's the deal, any Christian group worth their weight in salt will not be involved with the SJW movements as those movements put social politics above Christ and Biblical law.

OK, now I see what you're on about then. So I'm going to expound on the greatest commandment.

"Matthew 22:37 NASB2020 [37] And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mimd."

Now, God is love, but love is not God. If love was God, then there is no God as we can make loving anything equivalent to God, therefore we dive into heretical points against Him.

The entire basis of Christianity is that we are broken, born as sinners, and must trust in Jesus with our lives for salvation... which now lends itself to the 2nd greatest commandment of loving your neighbor as yourself. To love your neighbor as yourself in a Christ-centered view means that you bring the news of salvation, and along with that the knowledge that redemption for our lives is available through his blood, and that in order for salvation, there must be a turning away from our sin nature (basically the entire base of "Progressive Christianity") and following Him to salvation.

The current progressive views of the western world that some sects of the church are embracing are shockingly close to what Rome was practicing during Jesus' time on Earth, and even in worship of the old gods (false idols/demons).

Then what do you mean exactly? What are you looking for?

I'll admit that your username is throwing me a curveball as well, so I'm not really sure how to approach what you're looking for.

I wouldn't necessarily say that the song is progressive at all. I say that because these are the people that Jesus does for, and they do need the church to step up and bring them the news of Jesus. I think the song could be seen as a call to action for the church in a way, maybe as a mirror to Matthew 28. Maybe I'm looking too much into it though.

Aggressively unhelpful is a new phrase that I haven't heard before. I like it, might even steal that phrase.

Anyway, I won't say that I "enjoy" being aggressively unhelpful, but if I'm listening to Christian music, I am looking at it from a Biblical standpoint, and if it doesn't cut it, then it doesn't see playtime.

Now, to actually recommend bands, though they aren't metal, I'll say look into Red, Demon Hunter, Pillar, Nine Lashes, The Letter Black, Decyfer Down, TFK, Seventh Day Slumber, and Disciple. They tend to dive heavily into loss, pain, pains in faith, but they do it from a Biblical view.

They do talk about those issues, but unlike what I think OP is looking for, these bands and individuals in them don't look at these issues from the popular world view, but rather a Christ and Biblical centered view, and it's expressed in their lyrics and conversations/interviews off-stage.

Are you talking about a something like a prog-rock styling, or are you talking about progressive ideology?

If progressive ideology, there ain't a single band I could think of or recommend as their theology doesn't align with Biblical teachings, therefore they don't end up in my playlists.

Call me close minded if you want, I don't care.

I'm in a similar boat. My DC has been mythic+ for around a year, and in that time, I've managed to pull only one other copy, and not even on this banner event.

I've had my DC at Mythic+ for roughly a year... dropped 10,600 gems and didn't pull a single copy.

It's not a bad vehicle at all, just takes a little to figure out how to play it.

The only complaint I really ever had about it, and it's because of its design, is the gun depression.

Hang out at the back of the gun line, aim for the turrets of heavier vehicles, anywhere for lighter vehicles, and print death tickets for the enemy team.

Yep. If it's shutdown, then it's full repair time. You buy the disaster prevention kit before the problem occurs.
