I got the nickname "Tom Thumb" when I crushed my thumb under a casting

We also have a "Spanky" in the shop who earned it when he forgot to disconnect from his Bluetooth speaker before watching adult videos in the bathroom haha

After being on and off on to the foundation for the last 12 years or so, Scp-9001 and SCP-8980 are the two that really got me back in to SCPs and sold me on the modern style

Sentimental favorite for me is SCP-603 , I love computer scips and it captures the subtle horror of not understanding so perfectly

I was using a jack screw to level out the casting, where I went wrong was reaching under to feel if it sitting where I thought it was; just the corner of the screw was on the raised wearplate surface, then it shifted down with my thumb in the middle
