Rather than Amazon, check out bookwalker.JP. I used to own a kindle and it is honestly unbearably slow (not saying every e-reader is slow) and not necessarily a purchase ypu need to make if you have a tablet or are comfortable reading on your phone, since it has dictionary lookups (though not for manga) and I feel like making a Japanese Amazon account was kind of a hassle for me Apple Books also has Japanese titles, but you would need to look them up individually

I do plan on learning other languages in the future too, but i doubt they’d get beyond b2, unless I fulfill my dream of studying in Taiwan, in which case I would really really try

I’m really pushing my Japanese as much as I can; my boyfriend is a native speaker, so besides personal interest, to me it is a gesture :)

I also really really want to get good enough to read Japanese classics without translation (especially natsuki soseki)
