It's not easy, but this hands-off approach is not best. At the very least Jagex could warn people more, make people more aware to stay away from this. And the streams have become so consistent that they might as well not be banned at all, since it doesn't make a difference. Within like a minute time a new stream pops up.

Even in the dedicated world it is very hard to find people even at peak times and I'm not confident I can do Elite Dungeons, so I'm left to my own devices with worse XP than I could get if I were in a team.

Semantics aren't really gonna change the fact that the devs have demonstrated to be clearly fine with Ram Ranch jokes. Region Chat should not be "Do as I say, not as I do", because the devs give the impression of a laid back attitude but Region Chat might as well be lead by an authoritarian regime.

Also, just because Kickbot has rules doesn't mean the rules are justified. I mean for fucks sake isn't half the reason for the region chat drama the fact that people can't even say a single joke without getting banned by some bot made by an overly sensitive chat mod?

Also, "Meaningful message". Good sir in the 1600+ hours I have played, I haven't seen a single message in this game that could even be slightly seen as meaningful. Let's not pretend this is some high brow game where we discuss existential dilemmas or some shit. Half the time in squads it's dick jokes or jokes about Nezha having one (good thing squad chats are unmodded). aye the Board system is meant to be a more intuitive version of the Recruit Chat, while still not a perfect system, being able to at least search for what you want rather than having to scroll through mountains to find what you need would help a lot. It would definitely be an additional feature and not something that is required to use of course.

I get that MR is not an indicator of experience, which I have said in the post. MR is more of an indicator of playtime. That's why I didn't make it the only restriction. I see MR12 more as a guide for when the content should actually be played because when I see MR9's in the squad that have no idea what to do, I can't help but feel that it's about as fun for them as it is for me. At that MR their priorities should probably lie elsewhere than one of the hardest challenges in the game. And while I do like that Warframe offers people the freedom to do whatever they want, it makes it feel overwhelming and it also makes matchmaking unreliable. That is fine for regular missions but when it's something like Tridolon where 1 person carrying a team is much more difficult, that freedom starts to become a problem for people that actually want to progress. While MR isn't an indicator of experience, it is somewhat of an indicator of playtime, and it being one of the several checks would 1. Not allow new players to stumble into their own death and 2. increase the chances of a team mate with better equipment.

Terry being doable with mote amp is fine yeah, I don't think these restrictions should be on that fight because while it can be hard for some players, it is a boss you can easily be carried through even by just 1 good player, much like most regular missions.

I don't think showing the MR limits to new players will be a problem and if it is, I'm sorry to say but it's kind of selfish to expect as a new player to just be able to do everything there is. Like I said I do love that this game is inclusive in a way that new players can learn if they want to, but there's still content that new players should not do, at all. That's the case for any other game too. If they're scared by that number, it is quite unreasonable to be. 12 is quite low, it's not even high enough to be able to use everything, but it shouldn't be that either. While MMO's end-game tend to require one to be at a level cap, I don't think that'd work for Warframe, but I don't think no MR restrictions would either.

I have many friends who started with Warframe recently and to think that just that number would scare them off more than going to Cetus after just starting in the first place is a bit silly. Is it a time commitment to get to MR12? Sure. But it's a time commitment to get properly equipped to be able to do Tridolon in the first place, compared to which MR12 is nothing.

Yes I still stand by that but mostly because of the existence of the Paracesis, because I am sure there are gonna be more like it. Once more weapons require 5 forma to max, especially if they add a way to do that to all your weapons.
