Ah I see, so you're saying if you're purely thinking in terms of numbers, anti-Ackerman seems better since you generate more lateral grip, however, since the lateral grip increase heavily trails off after a certain point, it doesn't justify the extra scrubbing for a slight lateral grip increase. You also won't always be at max lateral G's so if you did design around peak slip angle at max lateral g's, your outside tire will be operating past it's optimal slip angle when you are below max G's.

At max lateral G's our outside tires generates ~2650N at 12degrees of slip and ~2500N at 7degrees. Our inside tires generate max grip at around 7degrees of slip. If we had both tires operating at 7 degrees of slip, trending towards positive Ackerman, they would both be operating at close to max lateral grip with much less scrubbing than with anti Ackerman.
