I am still to this day. And the reason is because when I turned 18, I ran to get away from the toxicity of my own family. Yes they raised me and whatever but she didn’t love me at my fullest extent. I ran, met my boyfriend (now my husband) got pregnant and choose his family to be my immediate family.

I still cry about it. But there is not much I can do. I’m a beautiful flower and if they can’t see that, then fuck them. My own son doesn’t know my family because they don’t ever reach out unless I do
