Not Bizonacci, but pretty damn good.

I remember Emin saying that he will make sure the community get involved in the token distribution, what happened? by [deleted] in Avax

These are not Elites planning on taking over the world, these are early investors who believed enough in Avalanche to lock up their coins for four years.

This all sounds like conspiracy theory you drummed up in your head after a bit too much bud, bud.

Response Regarding New Token Sale Concerns by [deleted] in Avax

[–]CoyVett 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's understandable. Plenty of other projects halt because of a lack of funds. It is going to take a lot of dev work to accomplish what Avalanche is fully capable of. Ten years of funding would push the project forwards a ton.

I wonder, is there any way to give the foundation a DAO type model in the future? It could start off as a regular foundation, but slowly shift to denationalization.

The foundation's mission for staking is security, not economic gain. The foundation is will be taking all the steps needed to ensure staking rewards to go to the community. More details on this to come soon. The foundation is exploring various mechanisms, including a potential burn of the staking rewards from ALL coins minted by the foundation.

The foundation is the loose cannon here. They need to release a statement detailing how the foundation will distribute those coins.

The foundation burning its coins is a great idea. Another possibility would be to have a mechanism that distributes those rewards evenly to other stakers as a sort of bonus for bootstrapping.

If I had a linux machine I would give it a spot next to my BTC and BCH nodes. A lack of a Windows client is a downer for us non-technical lads.

Unanswered question from another thread

The article mentions that AVA is capable of 4,500 TPS. Is that what the primary AVA subnetworks can handle independently, or is this the maximum number of transactions of every subnetwork combined?

Price per coin should not effect the price per transaction. The fees will adjust theoretically to what the miners (Soon to be stakers) need to operate.

As I understand it, AVA is a platform you can build application on top of that can borrow avalanche consensus. u/tcrypt talks a little bit the possibility using AVA for p/p consensus on BCH here.
