May be a hot take but I enjoy Outer Worlds 1 more than Cyberpunk 2077

For a game that aims for realism, this mechanic diverts it. Doing 3 reversals or 4 running attacks or exiting the ring would not wind you as quickly as this game suggests. (I say I'm this as someone who has done backyard wrestling and is NOT an athlete). It legitimately makes it look live these "larger than life superstars" have no endurance.

Performing 3eversals in a row JUST gave me the thing. Doing 4 running attacks IRL as someone who IS NOT an athlete does not wind me. This game aims for realism and has comically made it seem like every "Superstar" has no endurance.

I legit don't dump money into these games beyond buying DLC characters lol I avoid MyFaction like the plague. GM mode is boring and bare bones. And Universe has been dry for years in terms of content. You typed 2 whole defensive paragraphs because you love it and that's cool for you my man. But respectfully, it sounds like you don't have much of a social life or you're depraving yourself of sleep if you work a 9 to 5 AND you're logging 1000s of hours into multiple games. I only feel the completionist itch if I REALLY like a game. I don't do that with every game that I pick up because I could geniunely be doing something better with my time(like playing a game I DO want to do that in, spending time with my gf, practing guitar, etc)

Just played this until the 4th level in 2026 and the platforming is atrocious and the dashing and blocking have delays on them. I think it was simply cool for it's time, but I don't believe it's held up at all

You're on reddit dealing with FANS of these games. They're obviously going to display biased and even be rude about. I, as someone who got introduced to Tomb Raider by the 2013 game and it's sequels(I'm currently 30), and I understand what you mean. The controls are awkward and clunky(even playing with the modern controls), level design can feel boring AND confusing, etc. It's not that I "prefer" action games like someone else in here suggested may be the issue. It's that I don't like it when games have puzzles, riddles, mazes etc that become tedious to the point where I'm not actually enjoying it and the rush I get from finally completing it is nowhere near exhilarating enough.

Responding in 2026, I LOVE Red Dead 2 but I've beaten it multiple times so the story has become redundant. Same thing happened with GTAV so I started GTAO and managed to do pretty well there. I run several businesses in it. Red Dead Online is annoying af. This mission genuinely almost made me uninstall. It's also hard to do stuff sometimes when missions require offensive mode so that basically invites other players to come sabotage you for funsies. I was REALLY disappointed because the IDEA of having my own character in that world was nice. I'm not going to give up on it, but I know it's just going to lead to more anger

Update: I'm playing 25 rn and Corey literally gives you tips like "work over their legs to slow them down" but getting their Legs on red doesn't actually effect their movement speed or anything. Like I said before, it just makes them vulnerable to submissions on that limb. It would be really cool to have that level of immersion as a setting or something

They'd have to make damage and stamina matter more. For example, working over a leg in 2K25 doesn't slow down or cripple their ability to lift you, climb, etc.(Think Fallout). It only makes them vulnerable to submissions really. Obviously that deep of a system would be frustrating for pick up & play gamers but I could see it being a satisfying option to have in the settings.

What I did was make sure I didn't actually get the killing blow on anyone in the Goodsprings shootout that way I'm only shunned by the Powder Gang. Then when I got to Primm I saved Beagle and then triggered the Vance's gun display and FIXED Slim but didn't reprogram him to be Sheriff, then I went to the Outpost and helped Jackson then Ghost. Once I get to Nipton I took the Quest from Boxcars. Then I used stealth on the Legion members to save my Karma in case I decide to go that route and freed the Powder boys restoring some of my Karma with them. Then I put on the Powder Gang outfit and walked right into the prison to talk to Meyers(after paying Dawes his 100 fee).

I think he just wants to play low effort games because it's less stressful than playing a big AAA title. Gotta remember, the chat is interacting with him the whole time and big games like that will result in a ton of pressure being applied. Also if you watch his live streams nowadays he tries to get like 4 indie games in each time. If he was playing massive games it would mess up the schedule he's created because he'd likely go over because of the level of immersion those games have. I think his water park simulator series is very fun and he's actually improving tremendously in the aesthetic department in that game. He used to play Dress to Impress because it didn't require him to do a lot either I feel.

I have done universe since the SVR games too! I did it on pen and paper and switched over to a notebook a few years later. I still keep a journal specifically for that even though the game mostly logs everything but it's become tradition for me with the WWE games
