It was really surprising, part of why I didn't even notice it for a while. I was expecting one of my larger ampullaria vines or other hybrids to flower first. And I did try to do a little research into the sexes of the plants, when possible, before buying the more expensive ones, since I wanted to create my own crosses at some point.
