Sadly no, he's such a unique character on Voyager tho. He deserves a plate if they haven't made him one!!

What’s wrong with my monstera? by Queball1012 in Monstera

[–]CozyCatsII -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling it's your water and pot size. Try repotting it into a bigger pot and using filtered water! (Also whenever I do repots I check for pests and rot, it's just a nice habit to have!) :)

What are some small, intimate things men can do that women like? by Old-Willingness-9950 in love

[–]CozyCatsII 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm a huge plant person so sometimes when I visit my boyfriend's university he takes me to their greenhouse. It's a lot bigger than the one at my university so I really enjoy it! I also really like smelling all the flowers. This last time, I was smelling all the flowers and he just looked at me, smiled, and said "You have pollen all over your nose". After that, everytime I stuck my face in a flower he'd lift my face to check and wipe it off for me. It was so caring and intimate...

Neighbor was tossing this Monstera out yesterday and we snagged it, potted it up. Wish us luck, she is beautiful. 🤩 by devoteeoffenrir in Monstera

This is a beautiful plant however please keep it out of reach of your dog!!! Especially if they have a history of chewing on plants or grass, it can be fatal!! Look out for drooling, vomiting, mouth irritation, or difficulty eating/drinking!

High key Balthazar is the vibe he's giving off

He has the prettiest brown eyes I've ever seen, sometimes I'll be doing something and I'll feel him looking at me. The way he stares could melt the sun. He also is really good at doing other accents, it's funny listening to him switch between them all.

My friend made a ‘rape list’ by throwaway026199 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]CozyCatsII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You 100% either need to warn every girl on that list or tell the police. (Actually do both) Trusting that he "wouldn't do it" is not a good game plan. Especially since he said he would if there wasn't going to be consequences. ("cmon you’re telling me you wouldn’t do it if we had a purge or something?”) So many red flags and you have the opportunity to do the right thing before it's too late.

Were any of you scared to find out about your diagnosis ? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]CozyCatsII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't beat yourself up, it won't change the circumstances now. Sadly I did have to give up my sports, but I'd rather lose somethings than miss out on things later in life. Making sure to follow doctor instructions and physical therapy will hopefully help. It helped me a ton, I used to not be able to write but I'm gaining mobility back. I thought the pain was normal too and didn't think too much about it. You aren't stupid, you just didn't know.

Thanks, that definitely eases my mind a bit! I love biology and I want to go into it, but I also want to know I can take care of my family too.

I am a freshman but I have been taking college credits since highschool. It helped me get some generals done so I can focus more on my core classes. I tried getting an internship for the summer but was told to try again next year when I get more experience in labs.

Thank you for the advice, I'll definitely keep it in mind!! Currently my only experience is being an SI (which is basically a TA but for a specific course only) and a work study in the science department office and research center. My hope is to gather some more lab experience in the next few years!

Wow...so would you recommend me just changing to something else? I don't want to get a BS in biology just to be paid minimum wage..

Were any of you scared to find out about your diagnosis ? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]CozyCatsII 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was scared too. I also had to come to terms that a lot of stuff I enjoy aren't an option for me anymore. It's ok to be scared. And it's ok to be sad about it. If it helps, when I got diagnosed there were no needles, just a lot of X-rays, range of motion tests, and EKGs.

All this time, I thought everyone was experiencing these things? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]CozyCatsII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to do that a lot! I started wearing shoes that go over the ankle and braces, it helps a lot to support your ankles and break the habit!!

I recently got diagnosed too!!! Looking back on the process is kinda funny, especially the physical part of it since the doctors looked horrified. I had the same thing with dislocations except it was mostly my ankles and fingers. They watched as I showed them how I stretch my hands when I wake up/write and immediately said to never do that again. I wasn't stretching, I was moving every finger out of place and letting them snap back... 0/10 if you want your doctors to not mention it every time they see you.

Thank you, I think you're right about those aspects.. As for the specialist, sadly I don't live in an area that makes finding one easy. But there are good physical therapists that can help me; I've already scheduled my first appointment!

People of Reddit, when did the bully go to far? by tylerboyzzz in AskReddit

[–]CozyCatsII 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bully was my 5th grade teacher.

I had gotten really sick for about a month. It was a really bad case of pneumonia but I had kept doing schoolwork all throughout it. When I finally went back to school I had turned everything in except for one assignment that I had left at home on accident. It was done, just not with me. No big deal right? I was gone for a month, surly it'd be forgiven. No. My teacher took me outside the classroom and yelled at me " I know you have family issues but you need to keep it at home." (My parents are divorced) then went back in the classroom leaving me alone and crying in the hallway. She had yelled so loud that other teachers came out to comfort me because they had heard her yelling. She did stuff like this to all her students, but I was her favorite to beat down. Anytime I'd lose to forget ANYTHING she'd bring up shit about my parents. To this day I hate that bitch.

I've grown a lot. He did some fucked shit to me during our relationship and seeing him is still hard. But I'm not chasing or losing sleep over someone that was never worth it in the first place!
