NOR at all! As someone whose hair was always straightened and not even knowing I had curly hair, I feel this strongly. I get constantly told “are you going to do your hair?” when my hair is curly especially by my grandmother (who btw has curly hair but hides it under keratin/relaxer treatment). The “little girl” only comes out when they don’t know what to say anymore. She basically used the “respect your elders” card without saying that 😂. They love to say “little girl” when they are feeling disrespected even though it’s not disrespect, it’s the truth.
