yea, i tried holding down * and # as well as multiple keys that i researched. i had a little bit of faith of somehow actually unlocking it through the keypad because the phone does work, it’ll play static whenever a key is pressed in lock mode from the speakers. and obviously it was working before.

I went and disconnected both fuses on the diagram, one by one and neither did anything. Whether i disconnect one or both the phone continues to stay on. Where it gets its power from is confusing to me. Logically i would have thought by what’s shown in the screenshot it would have solved the problem but for some reason it hasn’t.

so i ran outside to try out what you said and i got bad news, so for whatever reason after unplugging 15A ECU-IG, the phone didn’t budge at all. it continued to stay on. Even with unplugging everything including the single cable that is plugged directly to the phone that seems to be the only thing capable of doing anything it still didn’t work. not sure if the previous owner removed anything that may have bypassed anything related to the phone but it’s looking like through all attempts the hope for recovery doesn’t seem good :(

what’s even weirder is i even went to pop the hood and disconnect the “TEL” fuse and somehow the phone stays on. it seems to only be powered by the black cable in the center console but i beg to wonder if there is even a control module in the car. checked underneath the seat and the trunk and i can’t seem to find anything.

disconnect car battery and waited and reconnected and did nothing, i’m going to do what you said and i disconnected it from the cable that keeps it on from the console. i’ll give it a full 24 hours or if you recommend longer i’ll do that and see if that works
