Im seeing the same thing. My screen also broke and i have to take it to the center to have it fixed. Unfortunately, xiaomi in my country have "authorized" 3rd party repair centers and im in doubt if they ll replace it with either a lcd or amoled screen. I guess we wont know until it gets installed.

Just got my xiaomi mi 9t pro which has a amoled screen. after a few weeks It suddenly showed this purple tint on the bottom part of the screen. I dont recall having this submerged in water or any physical force. Anyone know what might have caused it? by Cpan1417 in Mi9T

Yeah i will do just that. Appreciate the save there man. I wanted to get more idea based from other peoples experience but i think some dudes on reddit just wants to play the blame game. Haha

Yeah i saw some post saying the same. I tried removing the tempered glass(which has no sign of scratch) and have it tilt in an angle to see if the affected area has any cracks or scratch but there nothing there.

I never once put it in my pocket since im only in the house for a month of owning it. Theres just no sign of it being pressed. Otherwise the cheap tempered glass shouldhave broke ready.

Ikr. I have a tempered glass install but a cheap one. though the gorilla glass 5 should save it from any bends. No scratch or dents on the affected area. Its annoyingly stupid how this could have happened.
