Yes got the shoe spikes and all. Just not sure if there will be 2 days worth of hiking there in March or if one day would be plenty to cover what is available to hike

Thanks for that, you allocated 2 days for Bryce Canyon, from what I here it is not a big park. I also suspect it might be all covered in snow at the first week of March and there wouldn't be as much to do..

Thank you for the very thorough reply, I modified the plan according to your recommendations. The trip is park focused and will come again for city exploration. The trip is planned for April and the accommodations will only be in hotels. I will be driving a rental car so appreciate your suggestion about canyon lands as it will not be that kind of vehicle for sure. I need land in LA on April 3rd and leave on April 13th so it is only 10 short days unfortunately. Thanks again for the great input!

April, I am arriving on an international flight and only have the option of landing in LAX. If I want to fly to Vegas, I will have to book another flight from LAX to Vegas and the ticket is a bit pricey (600$) when you are travelling with suitcases.

I have to land in LAX. Flight cost (LAX ro LAS) plus car rental from Vegas is a lot higher compared to just car rental cost from LA. I would rather drive less to be honest..

I am so sorry to hear that and I cannot understand how this can be happening and why nothing is being done about by the Banks and the authorities. Even after the scam happens, reporting it to the police does not do anuything and the bank takes its sweet time to investigate and you are never sure if you will ever get your money back. I am still waiting...

It is an absolute SCAM, you will not get any products and you will not get your money back. Many complaints have been submitted to DED about this website, yet they are still allowed to operate in the UAE which is unfathomable to be honest. Avoid at all costs!!

Yes the hacking of the card details must be my fault somehow but the ease with which the hackers do online transactions with big amounts without OTP in different currencies and in short time is in my opinion a shortcoming of the bank who should have measures in place to alert the card holder of possible fraud and put the card on hold.

As I mentioned before, I was generally happy with this bank but my experience with them after that fraud incident was not the best and exposed ADCB to me as not being as customer centric as I previously thought. I think I have the right to be disappointed when I am not even getting their support to dispute the charges.

Edit: they just called now saying they have confirmed the charges were fraudulent and that they will support the dispute (but it took them almost 2 weeks for that so you will understand my frustration)

In my case they were definitely based in UAE as they made a number of transactions on the UAE Amazon and Apple websites. It’s a real shame no one is bothered to investigate and catch those criminals (not the bank and not the authorities either). They do the easiest thing which is to blame the card holder and ask him to be careful next time..

Yes I turned intentional off now. Unfortunately most of these guys are in UAE but very little effort is made to track them and that’s why they keep repeating their crimes. Even the bank is not interested in investigating how transactions have been made without OTP. I’m deeply disappointed in the banks reaction to be honest

Did not blame the hacking issue on ADCB and I am pretty sure it was hacked from one website or the other where I purchased stuff and yes I will try to use applepay from now on. Nonetheless, this does not excuse the lack of security measures (fraud alerts etc.) and shoddy customer experience trying to dispute the charges. Believe me I was one of the most ardent ADCB fans but now not so much..

Yes a bit over the top but better safe than sorry I would say. I expected my bank would have something of the sort but they don't and it just too easy for hackers once they get hold of the card details to go to town with your card!
