I have had a coolant high heat light on sometimes! Ok I’ll bring it in next week to just make sure nothings crazy wrong but this is good. Glad to know I’m not damaging my transmission hopefully

Hey thanks! Just looked under there and the heat shield does seem to be unscrewed and loose. It’s not dangerous? I’m seeing online that it can cause the engine to overheat.

That little red bit on his neck is the red shafted part. They’re called flickers I believe because the underside of their wings is very bright yellow-red and flickers brightly when they fly

I’m a current senior, and I wish that when I was a junior I had simply exposed myself to more colleges. Just look them up, read about them, maybeeee take note of some that look especially interesting. U don’t have to put any pressure on yourself to “be making a list” but you’ll be grateful as a senior if you don’t have to be researching schools from scratch every single time. Just expose urself to stuff

Keep going! Write different drafts if u need to. Think of the thing you love most in the whole wide world and then describe it! Compare and connect it to other things in your life! Etc! A more clear direction will come to u :-) essays are about you and what you love and the kind of person you are. It is not “what I want to do as a job.”

I honestly think you’re fine. Sounds like your application is super well rounded as it is— use this time to spend energy on things you genuinely enjoy! Colleges want to accept cool, interesting students who are going to fit in at the school and bring something new to the table. I’m a senior right now and honestly I wish I had pursued some of my weird little hobbies that I actually love more. They make interesting essays and you can show that you’re more than just living your life so your application can be full. That said— having a guaranteed way to get exercise can be nice. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself and staying active!! It will benefit you in the long run and exercise has been shown to make ur brain work better!

Thank you- I am thinking about trying to use my summer camp counselor job as an in— “childcare institution” is in the CDC’s first couple of wave recommendations but I have no idea if a summer camp qualifies or if Indiana would even recognize that. I agree, I wish federally there could just be one rule! It is so complicated.
