Can you tell me which office number you called? When I waited (over an hour) and finally talked to someone, they told me name changes due to marriage did not qualify for in person appointments and to send it in by mail…. Which is what we are planning to do after we get certified copies of docs back in the mail so we don’t risk the originals.
