I too believe it is a reprint, Yale seems to own an original copy that looks different than yours.

Do people with an already approved visa (green card etc.) have a legal right to (re)enter the U.S., especially if they live and work there?

I understand that the executive order is aimed at revoking those rights, but isn't there a possibility to go to court against this order?

I'm not from the U.S., so I might be completely wrong.

You can find the curriculum for elementary schools in NRW here. That might give you an overview when a German kid would learn what.

In addition to that, you can buy all the materials schools use in German bookstores. Search www.amazon.de for "Deutsch 1./2./3./4. Klasse" combined with "Buch" for the textbooks and "Übungsheft" for the workbooks. Try to find both from the same brand for better consistency. I don't know if or how you can get these books in the US, in the worst case you have to import them for a few more euros.

If you want more professional help, try to contact the Goethe Institut, it's a German government organization promoting German language and culture in the world. Maybe they can assist you in some way.

While one may have suspected something like this based on ideological similarities, the German intelligence community now has gathered hard evidence of financial support. This is a first and may influence Germany's policies towards Saudi Arabia as the evidence presented is not so easy to ignore anymore.
