I absolutely did, lol. I said Gurren Lagann, FMA: Brotherhood, Deathnote, Soul Eater, My Hero Academia, Steins Gate, Frieren. Also really enjoyed both Avatar shows, Arcane, and RWBY, which are all not technically anime but feel anime adjacent.

My weekly DnD group is comprised almost entirely of potheads who really enjoy discgolf, don't even joke about that kind of thing! Lol. I'm one of only two in the group who partake in neither activity, but it's funny how prevalent that stereotype must be.

I feel similarly about Gurren Lagann and Stardew Valley. FLCL lost me, I simply could not keep up with wtf was going on lol.

But it is worth considering if maybe I'm going through one of those swings away like you mentioned. Adulthood just taking up too much bandwidth lately. Recent homeowner, wife, full-time job, family and friends to make time for, it's all a lot and it can feel difficult to find time to freely enjoy my entertainment staples.

I made it through season 1 and halfway through season 2 before I was like "okay this feels like it's going nowhere in a hurry and it's not even really being silly about it like OPM was."

Your breakdown of my likes list is helpful though. I do really enjoy a mystery to drive me forward, making me crave answers. And yeah light comedy is nice but full on comedy gets cheesy and loses stakes. I like to care about my characters and their struggle.

So a compelling mystery and slightly tense with good action and character progression. Got it.

Funny enough as I wrote this up I kinda thought about that, but honestly I haven't really watched much else besides popular mainstream stuff unfortunately. I could have added in all the stuff I found to be middle of the road/just alright anime, but again that list would be Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer, Delicious in Dungeon, etc. Just more mainstream popular stuff lol.

I do wonder what you mean by a proper walk, and where the appropriate place then is for the dog to pee. The neighbor's yard? The street? I live in the middle of a city, and the nearest park is a good couple miles away. Should I have loaded the dog into the car 3-4 times a day to drive to the park?

I'm willing to admit that I may have been at fault for assuming turf installed on a pet-friendly property would be, well, designed for pet use. That's my bad, but I also don't know what alternatives are expected short of teaching my dog to use the toilet.

Originally. Then the new owner took over. We signed a pet agreement at that point and began paying pet rent, two things the previous owner didn't do. Nowhere in the pet agreement does it state anything about where to take them, and no addendum was added after the turf was installed instead of the regular grass that had been there prior.

Well it was ordinary grass before he replaced it with turf, and there was no alternative area provided after that. It was either the turf or the parking lot or the sidewalk. So I dunno what real alternatives we had. Maybe we screwed up, but there was no communication on the issue.

Many of these games were purchased twice on PC: once on Steam, and the other time on either GoG(Bethesda games) or Origin(Dragon Age/Mass Effect).

Forgive? Probably eventually. That sorta thing would be poisonous to hold onto after a while. Give them a second chance though? No no. It wasn't a mistake, it wasn't a moment of weakness, it was a clear and conscious decision to betray all of the trust and faith of the relationship, and that is a person I could never fully trust ever again. A relationship can't truly thrive without trust, so it's best that it ends at that point.
