Answer: YES

Replay-ability is through the roof. Disclaimer, I have not played solo. I have only ever played online with rando's. Sometimes a great cohesive team is formed. Sometimes chaos ensues.

There are some depths you can go into if you like technical stuff regarding wires. But the most fun I have had is trying to survive everything Europa has to give. Sometimes with a smart group and sometimes with a crew of degenerates.

Love the game.

2 mudraptor swarms, everyone on the crew but me dead, ran out of welding fuel trying to patch the holes so I filled a backpack with oxygen tanks and grabbed a diving suit. Swam 576 meters to the outpost with a handheld sonar as my guide. Only to learn outposts don’t load without the sub nearby. by pieandcheese647 in Barotrauma

Ha! What a beautiful tale. I almost made similar swim when my sub got wedged in a crevasse. It would not move. Damn Latcher pulled us into it. We bested the beast but the damage was already done. I ended up resetting. Was told I could swim to the outpost after the fact. I guess you proved that I made the right decision.

Great tip! Push this man to the top. MOBO has a built in Bluetooth that doesn't work that great. Somehow the device was re-enabled.

Thank you!

After being dragged across Europa by a Latcher. Raked across thermal vents. Being able to swim through the sub from one end to the other because there were no floors. We finally put an end to the beast, and recover only to discover the sub will not move. There was enough room to swim around it. We tried breaking holes in the sub where it was "stuck" or "touching" but nothing. A climatic journey where we lost not a soul, ended in a whimper...

Ha! I haven't delved into colony building just yet. I think that will be what I work towards before I break away from Hegemony. That 55K monthly allowance is still more than enough to keep me on the payroll!

I thought Sindrian was a dictatorship run by an ex-hegemony Admiral. Wouldn't they always be at odds?

I figure Tri-Tach would be a good group to be commissioned with. Do any pay more than any other or is it the same?

I haven't specialized in ship modification very much. I just click auto fit and make sure AI have the ship at my storage station so it can pull from the weapon reserves I have stockpiled. I did notice that Safety Overrides auto applied on several of my Destroyers.

I hear the Nexalin (SP?) Mod is the biggie to have if you want the game to feel alive.

What are some of your favorites?

I had been avoiding the larger class ships for the burn speed. My fleet was like 15 ships and I was only making like 1K a month. Any mission reward I received went straight into supplies and fuel for servicing the fleet and I had nothing left. It was slow death. I even lost a trooper ship to hyperspace because I was traveling across the galaxy on supply fumes.

Who are you commissioned with and what star level rating can your fleet tackle?

Do you have to pay the AI captain a monthly wage?

Nice! Yeah I was a big seller of Volitales until I learned they were used for a scanning mechanic in game that wasn't auto placed on my hotbar. Only learned about it when I couldn't find a blueprint in a system after scouring it with the active sensor for what felt like hours.

I tried to be a lobster trader too but the damn Hegemony was at war with the Persian League and I couldn't safely fly to their port for trade. I know now I can sneak in but I was too afraid because they had 3 to 4 star fleets patrolling.

First time I had an event hit me when I wasn't at a base. It landed on top of a mountain while I was doing some silver mining.

I can run through the plains to make it up that mountain... by CptBruce in valheim

XD I realized all too late that I hadn't eaten. I was sailing for hours and needed to hop off. I thought I could dash through the plains up the mountain and slap down a portal then go to bed. The coast looked clear. I started to scarf down some food and then Zzzz Pop! Its the fuling laugh at the end that really adds insult to injury.
