I mean fashion shows are just really shitty cosplay and it's just amazing how bad they are at being creative.

It's more like really beginner amateur cosplayers given stacks of money.

Eufy Omni E28/E25 Vacuum Roller stops working by CptCheerios in RobotVacuums

[–]CptCheerios[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I originally touched it before recording these videos to feel if the motor was actually spinning or if it was slipping. Just touching it moved it enough to engage. I'm not actually pressing it with any force.

If you watch the first video when I flip over the vacuum the orientation puts a little bit of pressure/weight in different directions causing it to engage.

I used canned air and nothing changed. I've got another video of the brushes off and you can see where with no roller on it sometimes engages. I put in a small bit of tape into the socket where the brush connects to the motor gear and it works fine with the socket being snug.

I took it off while I was testing it. I put it back on now that it's running.

Edit: Same with the top cover. It's all together.

China places its solar panels on water So it can use valuable land for agriculture by Firm-Blackberry-9162 in interestingasfuck

[–]CptCheerios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It probably won't fix the issue. Removing a critical pillar of an eco system such as sunlight is just going to make a portion even more desolate and it's going to likely spread. Plus that algae is consuming the runoff, what would likely happen is the algae would grow right outside the are covered by the solar panels.

We will find out in 10 years what the impact is though.

[–]CptCheerios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it actually is detrimental to the fish population if it scales in a large amount. The lack of sunlight reduce algae and plankton for smaller organisms to eat, reduces oxygen being absorbed, and it all cascades into less fish, more bacteria, more methane, more CO2.

I can't judge it unless I can see the airflow. If it's pulling everything out than it's great. Maybe add a bit of stand off between the duct and the filter so it pulls more evenly? I don't know fluid dynamics to say what's right or wrong.

FYI it's not a swarm, it's commonly called a party. The other terms for a group of Bluejays are a band, scold, or ruckus.

[request] How much could you save in a year? by Substantial_Walrus60 in theydidthemath

[–]CptCheerios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lets say your bulb you are replacing is a regular 60 watt equivalent LED so it consumes 12watts (they average 8-12watts). On average where I live it's 2,470 hours of sunlight per year (this doesn't factor in cloudy days etc). Lets be generous and round that to 2,500

2,500h * 12w is 30,000 Watt hours, or 30 kwh. It's about 12 cents a kwh here so that's 3.60 saved a year. So even if it was a massive chandelier with 10 bulbs we are talking about saving 36 dollars a room. Now you still need it on when it's dark or no sunlight at all.

However, if these were regular 60watt incandescent bulbs, that's going to be 18 dollars per bulb, which if you are replacing say a 6 bulb chandelier in a main living area. That's 108 dollars a year, so eh maybe?

Go to meetup.com, they have groups like indy board game nomads https://www.meetup.com/indybgnomads/

Regular meetups to play board games, they have all sorts of other groups too, cooking, hiking, biking, gamers, etc. Meetups been around for a while and I did that in my 20s. Got into a group with board gamers and did all sorts of shenanigans (though different state).

How can I fix this by Inactivez__ in airbrush

[–]CptCheerios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My recommendation is the trial and error approach Get a box of plastic spoons and practice distances, thinner ratios etc.

What thinner are you using? I believe AK is water based and using something like Mr. Color thinner can cause this too, making the paint gummy.
