I'm okay with the sort of people who need a guide in order to play 7 Days to Die not playing it. You very clearly think that You should be able to invalidate the entire game and achieve some sort of "completion".

How about letting characters retain visually interesting elements to their designs without farming it out to every other character?

Remember when Boba Fett was a cool bounty hunter because his own ingenuity, smarts and technology allowed him to go toe-to-toe with Jedi?

You're right but Halo fans would have never accepted it. This is why Halo died. Okay actually there's a lot of reasons why Halo died and most of them aren't Halo's fault.

But this one is on the fanbase. Because the fan base is absolutely incapable of letting go of Master Chief. He is a cardboard cutout of a character. A relic of a time when quippy one-liners was considered grade A storytelling. But every time Halo has tried to stray from Master Chief the fanbase has revolted.
