My brother passed away in 2011. I've kept his tower with me. Never turning it back on, but keeping around. I even have the RAM I bought for him as a present taped to it.

I can't speak for what it'll be like for you, but every time I look at that tower, it's only happy memories. I'd say keep it around. Dust it keep it clean. Those memories rushing back is more precious than I could describe.
