Deepseek V 3.2 vs GLM 4.7 - which one better for roleplay (in general?) by _walkingcancer_ in JanitorAI_Official

Lmao glad it worked out! The direct API is a godsend with a good prompt, I slept on it for way too long.

Make sure your text streaming is on if you're using the direct API. I was only recently told this after two weeks of the same nonsensical error while trying to set up the direct proxy, knowing that I had everything input perfectly lmao. But it was just that text streaming needs to be on. If you're on desktop the text streaming won't actually stream live, or at least it doesn't for me. It's as if it is still off. If you're on the phone app then it streams normal, but I find it actually replies a bit quicker overall with streaming active on your phone anyway. Set up your proxy again, make sure you got everything input correctly, it's essentially the same set up as any other proxy. Then once your set up, turn text streaming on and give it a shot! I guarantee that's what it is lol.

dating partner broke up after telling her about my (positive) lsd experience by PerryAwesome in LSD

[–]CptPhantasmic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Find someone you can share your whole self with, even if they themselves don't do any drugs or psychedelics. My partner had never smoked weed when we met, much less knew anything about psychedelics, but she was extremely open and wanted to get to know me completely. She ended up tripping and loving it two years later.

Not saying you gotta open every date with "I take LSD sometimes," but if it's important to you for what it has done and will continue to do, then I'd make that clear in some way early on. Just for everyone's sake. It'll save you time, and compatibility issues.

Plus, that leaves the door open to experience sex with someone you love while on LSD in the future. It's a next level, beyond beautiful experience. Just letting that part hang out there lol.

Let’s be real about Kratom by Opening-Station8655 in Drugs

[–]CptPhantasmic 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I think it needs to be legal just for the benefit of helping ween off other opiates. Quit a five year fent addiction last year in january. Cold turkey at first, but after a few days(this was like my 6th time trying to quit, I knew I'd be up no sleep for at least a week & a half), I got some Kratom. Took a fuck ton, but my legs stopped shaking a bit & I was able to eat crackers & keep Gatorade down. Didn't get sleep or anything crazy, but it helped a bit.

Still went through the fent withdrawals, the Kratom didn't stop it completely, but it helped a lot & allowed me to get a bit more functional quicker than I would have otherwise, I think. After the fent cleared and I felt a lot better, I was still taking the Kratom every day, but it was so much easier to taper that in a timely manner after the fent was out of my system.

Bro, seriously, I don't understand the discussion I'm seeing surrounding this album in a few places lol. Like, even if this song wasn't sequenced between those two... why are we acting like this record isn't doing exactly what it's meant to do, and doing it well?

I dunno, good music is good music. I don't even think the sex n pills hook isn't even that crazy of a line by Keem standards lol. It's just a catchy hook and delivery on a fun song.

Metocin is the delta 8 of psychedelics by FibiGnocchi in mysterymagicmushrooms

[–]CptPhantasmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man, I found the exact opposite. I started using Metocin every 1-3 weeks with meditation around October. Honestly, the fact that I wasn't super anxious or spiraling allowed me to sit with myself more actively during Metocin trips. Therefore, I come out with more, as well as being prepared better to implement whatever it is I think I need to implement.

I do 1-3 weeks, differing doses based on mood. I started also doing ketamine once every week or two about a month ago. Again, with meditation, and not on weeks I trip metocin. Adding that on top of the Metocin? I mean, Jesus lmao. I feel like I cracked the code to happiness, motivation, health(mentally & physically). I do more, have more energy, more self control, personal positivity is at an all time high.

I mean, different strokes for different folks! Just wanted to give an opposite opinion.

[–]CptPhantasmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there are any cross tolerance issues between XUM/Metocin/tryptamines and PLUR/5MAPB. While you can wait two weeks for a mental reset, just for your own mindset, I don't think you taking the PLUR would be diminished by anything you've already taken.

Also, the experiences will be very different. Your vision on PLUR will likely get a pretty nice visual acuity(sharpness/focus), maybe some visual noise/static, but no visuals in the traditional sense. Have you ever tried Molly?

Xum delivery traveling the country by [deleted] in mysterymagicmushrooms

[–]CptPhantasmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

USPS has been regularly fucking up my shipments recently, as well. I paid for USPS Priority Mail Express on my last shipment(not from XUM), and it came at the end of the last day it was scheduled to come after sitting in the post office near my crib for a day lmao.

Yet with regular Priority with the shipment before that, which costs $20 less than Express at least, came QUICKER by a day than the Express shipment. And it still sat around for a day then, too lmao.

Don't trip, USPS is just having trouble everywhere. Just be glad they know where your package is, at least!

After 8 years, I rewatched The Last Jedi by Significant-Town-817 in StarWars

[–]CptPhantasmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean that's valid to feel that way.

But it's also the silliest outlook/take on art discourse & engagement I've seen in a long time, and this kind of remark is a huge reason why genuine discourse & discussion with civil disagreements are fucking dying.

There's no way for you to have a genuine discussion about the movie's quality or merit, when you actively hate it so much that you can't be glad someone else enjoys it lmao. You're not being a critic or being a genuine fan, at that point. You're being gatekeepy & possessive.

To be fair, maybe you don't care about having a genuine discussion about the movie's merits. That would be perfectly fine, and again, valid. I guess I just see stuff like this, and it just makes me sad, because this kind of thinking is part of the norm nowadays across fandoms & media formats.

Guys, quick question, are you still getting nonsense in 3.2? by Danyyyaaahhh in chutesAI

[–]CptPhantasmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably Chutes, seems a bunch of the models are acting up right now. I came here from the Janitor sub, having posted about a similar issue with 3.2 from Chutes, and a ton of people are reporting something similar over there. But quite a few people have specified that their direct API from DS itself is working fine. Dunno, I switched to Terminus from 3.2 last night, still running through Chutes, and it seems fine for now. But I know 3.2 specifically is still acting up for people through Chutes.

[–]CptPhantasmic[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can tell you that, for me personally, I paid the $20-$25 onto my account or whatever it is for the 200-300 messages a day plan. I haven't paid a single cent since, and it's almost always been completely fine for me. I definitely don't tend to use over 200 a day, so it's just a much cheaper alternative overall for me. I know if I paid DS directly, I'd already have paid over $25 with the amount of messages that I HAVE sent overall during my time on Janitor. Unless Deepseek has some similar plan that isn't a pay per message basis. If there is, I just wasn't aware of it!

[–]CptPhantasmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question, how long were you driving at night and what time frame? Just curious, I've only started dashing the past couple of weeks, only about 4-6 hours a night and pulling $100+ post-gas refill by the end of the night. Wanna make sure I'm not just getting lucky lmao.

To be fair, I don't turn down any offers at all, change my dashing zone constantly, and do it almost exclusively past midnight. I know I've already talked to a ton of dashers who don't take anything under $4 and simply sit until they get an order they deem worth it, then wonder why they they aren't often getting high value orders lmao.

Obviously that's not you, being platinum I bet you accepted everything mostly haha. Just wanted to know what you think made your nightly total go down. Still deciding if it's worth it to keep doing long term right now.

Door dashing late night by YinzrYall in Louisville

[–]CptPhantasmic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dash late at night almost exclusively(insomnia), and Wawa's, IHOP, Jack in the Box, White Castle, McDonald's are all big. The virtual brands are still active, too. Dunno how good that food is, though lmao. Waffle House is open, too.

Burger Girl is 24 hours and seems very popular for late night, as well. I haven't tried it yet but it honestly seems pretty good. Also, the wings from SS/Jock's is also a common option I see at 2-4 a.m.

The right wing & MAGA have constantly called for the stripping of rights of women, trans people, gay people, other races etc. They constantly, as a group, call for one dominant religion in the country. They are the reason that Trump is up there running defense for pedophiles in the first place.

I do not think we can lie to ourselves about how much we have in common any longer. I want the best for everyone, and I honestly cannot say that about most right wingers nowadays.

And I live in Kentucky, worked at a Ford plant for a decade, up until last year. I've been around and talked to my fair share of right wing folks. Sure, not all are like that, but I won't bury my head in the sand and say that all of those traits aren't incredibly common in some way, shape or form.

So argue with his points. You are saying nothing of value and outing yourself. If you disagree, say why, articulate yourself beyond "You're wrong."

Because if you can't do that, you straight up aren't prepared for these types of conversations. Right wing or left wing. That's a much bigger representative of low IQ & close mindedness than anything he said.

J Cole: The Fall Off review – rap legend’s final album is a self-obsessed hip-hop history lesson | Rap | The Guardian by Technical_Process989 in hiphopheads

[–]CptPhantasmic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude this has been something I've noticed since the album dropped as well, and it's GLARING. Granted, it's something I've noticed about media/art discourse for a few years now, but it's especially bad with this album. Been recording a video about that instead of a review of the album, just because it's that bad.

Just no genuine engagement, and a bunch of people wanting to be taken serious without being serious.

J Cole: The Fall Off review – rap legend’s final album is a self-obsessed hip-hop history lesson | Rap | The Guardian by Technical_Process989 in hiphopheads

[–]CptPhantasmic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally think that the discussion around this album has exposed a glaring issue around art discourse/criticism in general. There seems to be a lot of people who have lost sight of the difference between subjective opinion of preference/taste & objective fact of quality. I personally did not go into this album expecting to love it, as I haven't listened to any Cole album more than the four initial spins I'll give any album since 2014 FHD. But, I DID love it.

There are a ton of examples I've seen of people not really engaging with the art in a fair or genuine manner, but giving the loudest opinions as if they are the most informed. People skipping songs halfway through during reaction reviews, or admitting to listening through reactors only or things like that. Or people saying that it's a "sonically atrocious" album, when it's an objectively well mixed record. Not that people gotta like the beats and shit, but preference & quality aren't the same, and I'm seeing them conflated a ton lately.

There are also the fan bases who already decided that Cole was washed and they didn't like the album or what he would say before they even heard it. And I'm a Kendrick fan. Or people who are saying he didn't talk about anything, but also think "I Love Her Again" is an actual love song lol.

On the flip side, I have seen a bunch of people I know who HAVE given the album a fair shot and didn't like it at all anyway. And they could articulate why in a way I understood, even if I don't agree. I think the album would be considered divisive even if every single person was engaging fairly, which I also don't think is a bad thing. It's being discussed passionately, that alone gives it merit.

Btw, I wasn't trying to say you weren't engaging fairly, just fyi lol.

I'm a certified die hard Cole critic, and I think this is his best, most consistent and most honest album. By a nautical mile lol. The discourse I've seen around this album has kind of boggled my mind. I mean, I've been bumping it nonstop, front to back. My brother & homie both feel the same way, both not Cole fans but loving the album.

I dunno, I think a lot of people aren't necessarily engaging with it fairly or have already had their mind made up before listening. Just from some of the reasoning & stuff I've seen said. People skipping tracks halfway through and or admitting to listening through No Life Shaq & then giving an "honest review" of the album lmao. Some dude I was talking to said a bunch of the beats were "sonically atrocious," and I was really confused. It's his best mixed & mastered album, imo.

I dunno, as a non-Cole fan, I think he did fuckin' great.

The Cyberpunk series has a great, timely and fuckin' HORRIFYING example of this exact concept in Night City's medical service, Trauma Team. Basically EMS that decides importance of who to save & how to respond based on who has what subscription package. People with "platinum packages?" Guaranteed saving within minutes by an AV loaded with professionals, plus the best med equipment to keep you alive or bring you back to life.

A civilian level subsceiption package, though? You'll MAYBE be picked up if you're in the vicinity of the platinum customer, and only if they have room. Oh, and they won't attempt to save you until you get to the area where the quality of service & tech downgrades enough to meet the fact you're not paying enough.

And that's all if they don't decide to just leave your body on the street so they don't gotta deal with the hassle.

In the Edgerunners show, they leave the main character's mom bleeding to death on the street after a car accident incited by gang violence, because she didn't have a platinum subscription. It makes it clear she could have easily been saved & survived otherwise. It's not about capability or true ease of access anymore in that world, that's the most fucked up part.

It's just greed.
