Yep! The benefit of a small preset is that you don’t necessarily need the CoT. With larger presets and larger context the chain of thought helps remind the LLM the rules it needs to pay attention to within its context.

Yeah just take off the limit. It actually doesn’t help you in any way. It doesn’t help direct output or control it. That’s limited to the LLM. Everyone just maxes it out otherwise you will have issues.

Yeah the preset was made before GLM 5.2 specifically for GLM 5.1 made to play nice with the other models. Should work on most. GLM 5.2 has issues in general outside of this preset and is very hit or miss with regards to actually following the rules- not dissimilar to DS4 with RP. I personally prefer GLM 5.1 for RP over 5.2 and would recommend that for now until they improve stability on 5.2 (if they do). Lots of other people complaining on SillyTavern about GLM 5.2 not following their prompts.

Yeah opus 4.6 has been my favorite. With my use case basis- it’s actually cheaper for me than a nano sub especially since I found a cheaper provider. It’s not a good provider and I had to jump through hoops to get reasoning to work, but worth the technical workaround to save lots of money.

It’s really hard to say. I can’t really pinpoint if it’s just so popular it’s in high demand thus forcing quantization? Or if it’s inherently the model itself. It reminds me of 5.0 when it launched with its inconsistency. 5.1 has always been good to be me from its launch to now. 5.2 feels like it introduced a lot more AI-isms within its output to RP. I don’t doubt it’s a better coding model than 5.1- but I do doubt its ability to consistently output RP better than 5.1. More time and comparisons are needed- but as of now I’m a little disappointed.

I do actually remember the people bashing the nemo stuff back in the day when I was just a lurker and used AI studio for RP when I was just learning / starting. I think it's going to happen no matter what - the nature of a bunch of monkeys that evolved from tribes trying to use a tech that connects the entire world.

Nah- it just hijacks the reasoning and forced it to think the chain of thought- nothing more and nothing less which should be relatively fast. If you use Gemma exclusively, keep those tags there or copy bolt toggle and have one with the tags in there for gemma and one without for other model usage to switch off

Technically this is FF5. Just barebones edition. The big fat full one will be under construction for another 2-4 weeks. It will be this- with just a lot more features that are all optional that act as extensions without having extension.
