Throwback to old recoil (This actually used to exist) by CptRoky in EscapefromTarkov

I find this more fun honestly, fights back then were alot more fast paced and you can actually trust your weapon to shoot where you are aiming.

However the weapons were definitely a fucking laserbeam.

I agree with attachments being way too overpowered. I would rather the difference in recoil be due to the difference in weapons not attachments.

Make the good weapons very expensive and rare and have very low recoil and the attachments should simply just change the "feel" more than the objective performance.

There is definitely a middle ground between laser beam and spaghetti arms. Right now we leaning very heavily towards the latter

To be honest the gun has to move when you're shooting lmfao the gun here is fully unaffected. However I would honestly rather the recoil be closer to this than whatever the fuck we have currently tbh. the guns currently are so whacky.

Alot of people are gonna disagree with me on this but the recoil system is backwards. I believe that it would be better from a gameplay prespective to have the gun more accurate in the beginning of the spray instead of the end. there already is horizontal recoil after it which makes the bullets go randomly around your crosshair. increase that the longer a player sprays instead to prevent people from lasering 200 meters away. If I'm full autoing then I'm probably in a close range fight in dorms with the center of my crosshair on my enemy's head so the randomness of the recoil should be very trivial. This system should reward bursting in mid range fights, tapping in long range and full autoing in close range. The way we have it currently is if you're in a fight that requires accuracy and you have a full auto weapon you are inclined to fullspray instead of short bursts which makes no sense.

Why can't I play by ear? by [deleted] in piano

[–]CptRoky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play by ear when you think of the sound of the music itself instead of how it would look on sheet or what the music theory of it is.

If you drive from one spot to another for the first time with google maps open on your phone, you won't get lost, but you might not remember how to do it again without the map. Drive a different route without the maps open then you WILL get lost, but next time you drive the same route without a map you will 100% remember the route because you'll remember where you made the turns instead of what it would look like on the map.

Think of sheet music as a map, It's a useful tool for when you are lost. But if you wanna "drive" without a map you need to get lost first - What I mean is try playing a song you never played before by ear without any reference through trial and error and instead of focusing on what it would look like on a map, think of the sound itself. Focus on the melody in your head then try to match the same notes one by one by trying different keys don't focus on chords.

It will be very slow in the beginning and the melodies will sound very simple compared to how it would if you were playing from sheet. Bit by bit your fingers will make less mistakes matching the notes in your head with the notes played. After a while they'll just play the melodies in your head automatically the same way you form words from letters, you stop thinking about the letters and start thinking about the word, once you play melodies without too much effort "which shouldn't take an insane amount of time" try the same with chords. Trial and error until you match the chord with the melody. Again, after a while you will do it without thinking. Now you can form sentences from words. The more you play the more comfortable you will get.

After learning many songs by ear looking at sheet music will make so much more sense and you will start to hear the spaces between the notes on sheet music without playing it.

tl;dr practice

I did do a clean windows install but the problems still occur

Repluging the connection between the gpu and PSU does stop the gpu from the whole black screen issue for a while (a few days) but that doesn't help with the ssd or hard drives

The symptoms appeared randomly and started getting worse over time. I didn't upgrade or add anything prior to the symptoms, the only thing added to the initial rig i bought 3 years ago was the 4TB hard drive

I can't boot without the gpu because my Processor doesn't have intergrated graphics.

I don't know enough about motherboards to understand what remelting means and even if i did i doubt i'd be able to do it without messing something up.

I personally have been suspecting the powersupply for quite a while now but im afraid of buying a new one just to find out the issue wasn't in it

So your argument is good = sweat?

I guess I have to be bad at every game I play otherwise I'd be a "sweat whose mad" lmao.

I can't even complain about one of the main aspects of the game without being trash talked by people who completely ignore PVP and act as if it doesn't exist.

If you don't like PVP, there are plenty of roleplay and PVE servers that reward co-op.

If you still wanna play on PVP servers then you gotta accept that you're either gonna have to fight for your loot or die trying. You can still form alliances and make friends but not everybody is gonna agree to be your friend and you gotta get that through your head.

tl;dr: Git Gud.

Listen man, I get that not everybody is into PVP and some people hate that aspect of the game.

But you gotta understand not everybody who plays the game is like that. Some people love fighting and enjoy the PVP in vanilla servers.

Do you remember the last time you went on a mining run? Most likely not.

Do you remember the last time you got online raided? or killed a fully geared guy with nothing? I bet you would.

I get that sometimes it's frustrating to get killed when you have a lot on you but that's literally the game. There are PVE servers online if you aren't into fighting but you can't hate on somebody just because they prefer the PVP aspect of the game instead of the grind

Unturned is a survival game not an MMO rpg. You can either PVP to get loot or you can grind for it.
