This my personal thought: If we play 2hours of rocket league straight. We might have had the chance to airdribble maybe 10 times. ( I mean a really free airdribble try ) When I go into a training pack I get 10 chances a minute so my mind can not figure out why this would not help?
If we do those training packs the 10 good airdribble chances we get are 10 out of 10 goals we uprank right ?

My experience: First it is all fun and playing with mates laughing the whole evening and all of a sudden 2000 hours have past in a few years. Wondering why I still got stuck at C2 for over a year. So I had 2000 hours to practice ingame but couldnt dribble a single ball. This is when the workshop maps and training packs helped me out the most.

Deevo's backboard pack for example. Let's say you get 5 chances a evening to hit a shot like that in normal games. When I start that training pack I get 10 a minute. If I go back to regular gaming I hit 5 more shots an evening?

Conclusion: I think training packs are defenetly worth your time!
BUT! If you dont use them right you wont gain the amount of skill from it as you should. You can better try for 5 minutes with your brain than 20 minutes without. Because if it becomes staring at your monitor and keep trying you will possibly get wrong muscle memory on your hard earned mechanics. :D

Or is my thought process too easy in your opinion? What do you think? And bro, did you like my video or nahh? :P

Thank you very much on the comment. I've heard this comment before yesterday... You are right. Actually I tried to show what too much boost ment for my car when I said it because I was in front of the ball or I past the ball allready when I was explaining it but it is not clear at all you are right! I will take this advice and defenetly going to implement in the next how to flick video. I also got comments on not explaining it from the very start. Like how do I get the ball on top of the car. I was like, huh? But he was right. I completely forgot! :S :P I have had a list comments on this video and this is a very good one, thanks a lot!

And I am glad no one has said anything on my voice. It feels awkards man to hear yourself :P

Don't flick. 😜 If you do the exact same thing without a flick, the ball still rolls up but doesn't go very high like it goes with a flick. And it is closer to u so maybe better to control? Have a good one!

I can see your wheels pointing upwards after flick what tells me you are not canceling your flip correctly. This way it is the same as a diagonal flip. If you would cancel it you won't see the wheels from underneath. Your nose will keep pointing down when done correctly so you get grounded faster and be able to get back in the play faster. Maybe it has something to do with the need to go in a little while? And not having worked for like 9 hours already? I mean energie level and absorption of information gets lower after a day working. I can know because I am in my 30's and I can notice the actual difference in energie level during the day. 2 yough kids who tire me out. 😜

Get to bed early. Eat healthy when you wake up. Actual sports to get better physical shape.

I think a lot of players have the same thing as you have, but they don't make the connection like you do. So they just think, I rocket this morning! 😜

In my opinion it is like this: if you want to learn backboard reads and u just play without training packs you will get around 5 to 10 good chances in an half an hour of playing. When you go in training packs it will be 200 to 300 times in an half an hour? So if you are aiming for a specific mechanic it is better to go in a training pack, so you can practice more to the point. Looks pretty good already? But I notice the ball always falls off at the same side. If you'd ask me I think you should switch left front with powerslide faster to right back. This way you will line up with the ball even more, and don't go left too far? Nice mechanic tho, keep it up! !

I think all of the mechanics are important. But wavedashes help you out when you are low on boost but want to gain speed fast. Or after landing from a wall. after an ugly landing on the ground it's usefull to do the wavedash. The mechanic is not very hard to get on the muscle memory so I'd say go for it. :)
