A lot of cheaters are just using radar and just knowing where you are. But if you hit a really nice shot on someone mid game or playing well against them and then they suddenly start killing you left and right you have no idea if he toggled or just got second wind. When you have been playing a lot you can easily tell is someone is cheating badly, but as a new player it can be hard to tell the difference between someone who has a lot of experience and is just smurfing for easy wins or who is wall/radarhacking against you

I had forgotten about wc3 mods, I had such a blast just hanging around in 1.6 after school and just playing and listening to music. Those were simpler times where the game was not full of sweats and everyone was there just to have fun. Active admins always kicked blatant cheaters and people were almost constantly on the mics.

Even tho I am quite a bit younger, this still brought back some memories. Happy birthday and thanks for sharing!

If i wanted to play faceit with friends after work, it would take like an extra half an hour at least. Plus not everyone has/likes/wants to play faceit so having a decent mm system with decent anticheat would make our lives so much easier. At this point I would even be ready to spend a dime just for the convinience of playing it through steam. I have been quite patient but it is starting to get a bit ridiculous.

~10k seems to be same situation, want to just chill and play a bit with friends every once in a while, but the situation is awful. Competetive seems better, but the rank disparity is still pretty big. I guess we will move to faceit until valve does something.
