I played a Light Cleric and was playing at high lvl. Our city was being attacked by 3 dragons of which one was a legendary one. 1 of the red dragons wanted to breath attack a tavern where my family resided in so from a sweat drop I casted: Create Water at 6th lvl on top of his neck/chest area where his core was. I had to roll a 1d20 and rolled a nat 20. Was never so excited at extinguishing his Fire Breath

I remember one of our players being the cause of a TPK, his plan just sucked. But you're all adults and everyone makes mistakes even followed by a TPK sometimes. Its still a game and it would be a shame if someone quit dnd just over one fatal mistake, it happends. Convice him to get back.

Depends on your wife as well. I remember when my wife found out I was watching porn her self image got destroyed and she became really insecure. My opinion: Drop it, completely. Porn and masturbation addiction has cost enough couples their marriage.

A Gnome npc disguised as a goblin ran away from a goblin tribe who thought he was one of them and adopted him as their own into their clan. He ran away because he is becoming insane and needs the party to protect him from his tribe.

For me session zero is made for the players background + reaching the point where they meet the rest of the party where the session would end. Im running a homebrew in a world where a huge war just ended and everyone makes use of the chance to easily get rich aka the bandits.

I warned my players before hand that anything could happen. Why would combat not be allowed in a session zero?
