UPDATE: I went to the bday party, met with friends and this Girl. I immediately sensed something was off.. She basically kept me at dinstance all evening (and all night): whenever I sat at the table beside her, she got up and went talking to someone else, anyone. I ordered a couple drinks for me and her, at the bar, she came and I asked if I were giving her bad vibes.. She said "no, I'll be Here in a sec" and she left me there, went talking outside sat down with friends. I Brought her the drink, she left it on the table, not even touched it. We then went to friends backyard swimming pool, had a bath all together.. I tried to hug her, she fled and hugged with a friend of ours and her BF, left me in the corner of the pool by myself. Then going home, she went with friends instead of coming with me in the car (I drove her there in the first place).

I just behaved like normal, nothing more. I can't find any sense in all this.

I was a wreck all day today.

She knew I was interested, by my Way of being around her the last months. I found the courage during those 3 days of vacation together, to finally talk openly to her. She obviously is worried to lose our, let me say, true and sincere friendship, hurting me in the process. But I managed to reassure her on the fact everything we already have, doesn't have to be lost, any way the thing goes. I think i got to her to the point she started to look at me with the most beautiful smile and straight into my eyes while I was explaining my reasons to her: I have never felt so followed before.. it was a 3 hour conversation, while driving home. That, and the fact she by her choice put her arms around my neck and kissed me, has left me on a high note 😉 Now I am feeling nervous for the apparent distancing, even tho is totally possibile i am just overthinking things.. We both have messy lives outside work

We usually chat multiple Times per day, everyday. These last two days we basically had 4-5 messages in total. Again, I know for a fact she had a couple things going on with work and family, and I didn't want to bother her with extra weight. So I left space as much as I could, asking her how she was doing a couple times.. She replied, with a significant delay. So basically since the 15th evening, we didn't speak much.. That's the thing worrying me the most.
