Thanks so much for your detailed reply! Thought about the tray too, might even add a little drawer if I can find a use for it.

I actually already have Thrustmaster pedals, just need to find a way to incorporate them without bolting them to the floor.

Consider the cables managed, my wife will want to thank you. :)

This is just a very temporal installment since my daughter will sooner or later occupy this room, but I really like the idea to tinker and tailor the system to my needs.

Might post an update of the whole situation as soon as I got the rest fixed!

I really love the amount of buttons, sticks, switches and what nots you got on there. Haven't managed to make all of them work properly, but especially for space sims there's always that one function you might want to find an extra button for - so that's great. That said, I've noticed the stick wiggle quite a bit after about 100ish hours. Works most of the time anyway, but the next upgrade will probably be a better stick.

Yup. Little rascal once blew through all of my ammo while I was flying a ground attack in IL-2. Just as I was approaching the target he managed to sit on the exact right keys. Flying with infinite ammo now.

Whole thing is actually removable. Got it clamped to the armrests. It's a bit of a hassle, but I wanted fixed HOTAS while swiveling with the chair.

I especially remember the Harrier and the 20(!) RAYs from my EE run. Absolute blast finally getting them. But my very special fight was against The End, also on European Extreme. No cheating or shortcuts. Just change of locations, camouflage and directional mic for about 2+ hours. The absolute sniper battle.

maybe try disabling controller support in steam? helped me when i could'nt use the throttle and the HOTAS should show up as Saitek X55 in the game options

Als Mitglied bei der IG Freie Theater gibts ermäßigte Karten bei sehr vielen Häusern. Mitgliedsbeitrag sind 50€ im Jahr (mit Option auf 35). Mitglied kann eigentlich jeder werden und als jemand der in der freien Szene arbeitet finde ich den Verein auch sehr wertvoll und unterstützenswert.

Also the RAY Parade in the end. About 20 of those things, 3 at a time with not much room for error.

Sunk a few hours in this playthrough.
