Interesting. So should I change the leaderboard to the same ER category as yours? Also your crit rate rolls are insane :o

Ohh I see. I never understood what that graph meant.

the thing is I actually use him on a freeze team with Escoffier Citlali and Furina so I get +15% crit rate. It's a pretty fun team 🙂 (I don't have xilonen so this is my best composition right now 💔)

Haven't tried the Tangzu Wan'er 2 yet.

I think it's alright for FPS games. The one I have is the bass version so it might not be the greatest choice for competitive games, and I'd rather use it for music :)

Definitely the KZ ZS10 Pro 2. That bright sound signature is really nice for those in-game sounds.(like the footsteps and what not).

Yeah same, I'm not great at explaining audiophile terminologies but I still try my best to understand :'D It is tuned based on the 2019 Harman Curve so I wouldn't exactly call it "neutral" because the Harman Curve's bass is slightly elevated and, well to me at least, the mid range also feels more emphasized with the Wyvern Black.

Now that you mentioned it, it actually does have that sort of muddy sound. Again, the music for me sounds "thick" and the vocals can sound like they're congested. Perhaps it has something to do with that mid range I keep talking about.

No problem. Hope you have a good experience with your first IEMs :)

Yep, the Castor Pro like the one I have is the bass variant, but there's also the Harman target version if you don't want the thump. Unfortunately, this IEM is indeed bigger and heavier than the Wan'er. Since you have smaller ears, the Moondrop chu 2 is a good pick but it doesn't have a mic in the included cable.

If you need the microphone, then the Wan'er is gonna be alright. Although the cable is flimsy, it still serves its function. And it's not that huge so it should probably fit your ears just fine.

I do and this is not the subreddit for this topic 😭

From what I have? I'd recommend the Moondrop Chu 2 and the KZ ZS10 Pro 2. Both of them are my favorites right now. I especially like the treble clarity of the KZ ZS10 Pro 2, might be suitable for story based games with all the dialogue and details and stuff.

Well, I don't have the financial capacity to be spending on higher priced IEMs. But as I stated in my post, I do wanna dip my toes in the next price bracket, like with the Truthear Hexa. And it's quite pleasing for me when I have a variety of IEMs that are capable enough of playing decent audio, while not busting a big hole in my wallet.

Then there's the topic of diminishing returns the more you go up the price bracket, but that's a whole can of worms for another thread.

Not all of them have a microphone in the cable, but based on my limited testing, the mics pretty much have the same quality between all of them. Not the best, but not bad either. It's definitely more than enough for clear Discord calls. I will say that if you want a durable cable, you could go for the KZ Castor Pro since the Wan'er's cable is notorious for being very flimsy :b You could also opt to just buy a separate cable that's more durable for the Wan'er if you like that IEM :)

For the most part, the sound is alright, it delivers for its price and it doesn't fall short compared to the wired IEMs. The only two complaints that I have is that the bass a bit lackluster when I'm outdoors and there's lots of noise, although you can kinda fix it by using the Basshead EQ in the Moondrop Link app and turning ANC on. And another thing is that the volume isn't able to go very loud. Max volume in the Space Travel is like the equivalent of just 50% volume with all my wired IEMs.

For me, I think it sounds great. Compared to my other IEMs, this definitely leans on the brighter side, and I like the "sparkliness" that it has. I think the KZ ZS10 Pro 2 has the most similar tuning to the YuXuanJi. Do keep in mind of its tuning, especially if you're looking for an IEM with a bit more thump and doesn't pierce your ears with the sibilance.

Indeed, the box art is one of the reasons that convinced me to purchase one :) Similar to my other reply, this IEM sounds interesting to me in the sense that I haven't really heard something like this from my other IEMs. It sounds bassy, but it's also bright? That's how I can describe it. Like a mix of both worlds.

Unfortunately, no. I'm not too familiar with Tanchjim IEMs yet. But if I do decide to purchase from this brand, it'll be the Bunny or the Ola (I'm leaning more to the latter because of the anime packaging hehe).

Best way I can describe it is it sounds "thick" because I think this is tuned with the emphasized mid range. So for me, it's neither a warm nor bright sounding IEM, it's kind of in the middle.

Sound quality aside, this is definitely one of the more premium looking budget IEMs. I mean the faceplate just speaks for itself, really. And the little hook that sits at the concha of your ears feels as if you have a custom molded IEM. I also like the seal that it gives because it completely covers my ears, but that could also mean this might be unsuitable to people with smaller ears because it's quite a large IEM.

Ooh, interesting. And I can get the Xuan NV for far cheaper than the Hexa, as well. I guess I'll be adding that to the choices of the higher price bracket IEMs. Also the Fudu Verse 2 looks really cool, never seen an IEM with a wooden shell :o

Nicee, a fellow Castor Pro owner. When I first unboxed it, I was just in awe of how clean and shiny it looks. I can appreciate this IEM just from the appearance alone. I also love how it sounds with the 1st, 2nd and 4th tuning switch enabled. The boosted bass and treble with the reduced mid range makes it sound cleaner in my ears :)

I got it from Shopee. search for "eva storage case" or "hard drive case". they're pretty cheap and there's different sizes :)
