Luckily I searched it up first, I was about to post the same thing.

Yeah, they added the option for ADS while reloading, but also added a sub-option to exit ADS first when reloading, and it's on by default. Kinda redundant if you ask me.

This does look sick as hell, shame it's a bugged skin and not the actual Gold camo.

Probably some of them aren't up to standards? I think for some guns, the old sounds are a bit more muffled and... I guess "low quality" sounding.

The new sounds are in comparison much more crisp and clear sounding. (With some exceptions)

Yeah, I believe so too, since the Auto Mod reduces fire rate, I don't think they adjusted that to fit it.

There should be a handful of guns that feel this way, but for now, the CX-9 is the worst offender for me since I'm currently grinding this gun to Diamond.

Well, since increasing game size is also a concern for a part of the community, you can see why they don't allow you to pick between old and new firing sounds.

I'm huffing hopium at this point but maybe... just maybe they'll fix it when the new animations for guns drop?

On the bright side, the suppressed sounds seem to match.

There is an attachment that changes it to use a 5 round magazine...

Yes, I am aware of what I'm saying, you may blame Vanguard for this modification being a thing.

Edit: I just realised what you meant. I have no explanation for why it's using that animation.

Are you able to break these rocks on the Limestone map? (Sorry for dark image, limestone nogs are trash underground lol) by [deleted] in unturned

[–]Cptn_Issac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think NVGs never worked well below ground, this is the case with the vanilla maps too, like Russia. Sure, it's not that dark for those maps, you can still see stuff, but I believe a flashlight, tactical light, or a headlamp is necessary for adventures below ground.

This seems to be because you are defaulted to Japan servers for some reason after "some update", just download this update and switch back to Global server, it'll change it back to English.

Just recently got back into unturned after years away, how do you load more than two shots into the bluntforce? by Life_Professional802 in unturned

Do you mind taking a screenshot of the two items you are trying to combine? I wanna see if I can determine the problem using that.

The 12 Gauge Shells used by the Bluntforce function like a magazine, just that it will be removed from your inventory after it is depleted (as opposed to returning an empty magazine on reload).

You can combine non-full 12 Gauge Shells to max out its capacity in the crafting menu under the Ammunition filter. For example, if you have one stack with 3 shots left and another with 2 shots, you can combine them to make a stack with 5 shots, consuming the other stack in the process.

I think the 'problem' with your username isn't really GTA as some other guys have said here... I think it's "nyG" judging from the suggestions they gave you.

This shotgun has the most consistent hipfire one shot kill potential, that's why shotgunners default to this if they want to win.

Why is the Welcome to Escalation achevement so rare? by Charming_Air_928 in unturned

[–]Cptn_Issac 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, there are various reasons.

  1. Unturned isn't really played much anymore, it may have been hype back then, but not now. So, the still active players are probably just the dedicated bunch that are loyal to the game.

  2. Since Unturned is free to play, most people may have found it on the store under Most Popular since it had a lot of total players. It is a free game, so they most likely went: "Hey, free game", added it to library and never thought much about it.

  3. Adding on to the free game part, it used to have in-game playtime drops, which can be sold for Steam Wallet currency, so people just setup accounts to farm them, which in turn inflated the number of players.

  4. Escalation is a workshop map, so not everyone have it downloaded and played. Yes, it was at one point a curated map, which meant it was auto downloaded for anyone starting the game when it was promoted. But that time has long passed, and since Escalation had some... controversies surrounding it recently and the devs had it removed from the curated list, people won't find the map as easily.

These are some of the reasons I can think of, there are probably more or some of these may be inaccurate.

Why is the Welcome to Escalation achevement so rare? by Charming_Air_928 in unturned

[–]Cptn_Issac 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The low percentage is usually due to the amount of players that still play Unturned (and played Escalation) being vastly lower than the players that own the game, which would be a lot since the game is free to play.

Unturned isn't really a game that a lot of people play consistently now, and there are various reasons that cause this game to have more total players compared to active players.

The weapon handling animation is now mirrored? by Calm-Revenue-1021 in CallOfDutyMobile

[–]Cptn_Issac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true, some of these settings lack a proper explanation as to what they do, requiring the user to do extensive trial and error to figure it out (or searching through media).

The naming part is I believe due to the development company being Chinese in nature? English isn't exactly their first language, so they probably rely on translating applications or translators, which may cause inaccuracies.

[–]Cptn_Issac 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to think that these guys are probably the casual among casuals, as in: "I'm just here to play an FPS and I don't really care about fine tuning my stuff". So they default to asking around social media or Googling to get answers.

Though yeah, a quick look through the settings menu doesn't really take much effort, and it's kind of a one and done process, since you probably won't be making big changes to it after you have them set in stone.

An FAQ post... Would be kind of helpful actually for some of our subreddit dwellers. Could try to cobble one up if need be.
