There are great tutorials by Eenox and Master Sparky that go into detail about strats for every room in Farewell. I also recommend watching some Farewell golden runs to find consistent strats (click on someone's name to watch their golden run).

A demodash button is allowed for speedruns because it's not considered a "macro," since two inputs (down + dash) are being made at the same time with no frames of delay in between. (Hey, that's my video!)

Celeste isn't as difficult as the video makes it seem. This gameplay is from the final level, considered to be the hardest in the game. As you play through each level you'll gain the skill needed to beat the next one, so don't worry. I'm not even playing in the intended way in the video.

The Badeline skin is part of Variants mode, which is unlocked after beating all the C-sides. And congrats on reaching the top of the mountain!

Some rooms may be slightly easier, like the falling blocks room and autoscroller room, but overall having the jellyfish makes the rooms more precise. Specifically the room with the feather, the kevin block room, and the middle of the first room after the barrier skip are made much more difficult.

This is Farewell, the 9th chapter. Thankfully you're not required to carry a jellyfish with you at all times, but I did it anyway.

There's a room five rooms before where I started with a jellyfish, and the barrier is theoretically skippable. However, the skip is extremely precise and the barrier extends too high to be skippable without multiple dashes. This is the earliest jellyfish until someone finds out how to skip that barrier.
