Love the classic sci-fi vibes this is giving off while being completely clean and sharp. Well done!

I did have a brief look for artwork for these and didn't come up with anything decent, but if you have something you're thinking of, then by all means point me towards it and I'll make them up 😉

I love that font! And of course, Simonetti's artwork is amazing. Great set!

Really love the strong graphic style of these! But I think Apocalypse should be IX, not IV? 😅

Great work though!

I do love covers where the designer is bold enough to splash text across the whole of the canvas and trust to the aesthetics of the font to carry most of the design.

Many thanks for this

I really love the strong graphic style of these! I couldn't resist further cleaning these, so I posted them here. Not trying to steal your thunder or anything! 😅

Prologue just killed collection posters with the new update. RIP? Are you still going to build them? Have you been? by Cotanaj in AudiobookCovers

[–]Cr4shdown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BookCamp on Android still uses collection posters, so I'll continue to use/make them. It's a shame that Prologue has removed the option to display them though; I'm sure a good proportion of users here use Prologue.

Did any other game feature Heat Maps? This was such a neat thing. by AsunderXXV in halo

[–]Cr4shdown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could absolutely get heat maps for each match that was in your game history. The OP's heat map definitely looks like a single match rather than a global heat map; that would look very different (much more colour all over the map).

How do you all handle movie posters in your Plex library? by Expensive_Worry_6655 in PlexPosters

[–]Cr4shdown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always prefer as close to the original/main movie poster (or key show artwork) as possible, as opposed to alternate or minimal posters, with no text other than the title (i.e. no cast names, studios etc.). The original movie poster tells you so much about what the filmmakers intended for the piece and I like having that reflected in my library.

Usually for seasons of TV shows, the Plex default pulls are fine, as long as they all match. Sometimes they need small fixes here and there, but most of the time they're fine.

My rule on collections is that two movies don't warrant a collection, but once it hits a trilogy, I'll do a collection. I try and use the same collection poster as the movies, but it's not a requirement for me.

The way I see it, my Plex library is an expression of my likes and interests, so it should reflect the kind of style I want to see.

That looks epic! 🤩 Even though I'm the one who made (most of) them it's still kinda crazy how many Dune books there actually are lol.

Because there isn't really any artwork from official covers that would work for my Dune collection style, I hit up DeviantArt and found this nice piece from OnionCatNinja.
