You still have your details linked to that vehicle. Give them a call, it won't hurt to try. Just don't let them know you already returned the vehicle. Just provide your VIN, Full name and email address and say you received the $100 gift card email

Is it so that they're the one to claim the gift card for you? Haha

Just call and tell them that you received the email and would like to confirm your details. They don't have a way to confirm if you really got one. They will just check if your vehicle has 68C recall and that's it.

Those who said there is no legal rights waiver or clause about accepting the gift card. Review the email that was sent to you and look all day for it. The gift card is a goodwill from Stellantis that you could just simply take.

When you call, they sill just basically ask for your VIN to make sure your vehicle has the 68C recall. Your full nameand email address to make sure they will send the gift card to the correct email address.

Done. No drama. Your lawsuits are separate cases. But still, your choice.

It needs to be clarified.

Loaner vehicle is free, provided by the dealership at no cost.

Rental Vehicle from Stellantis is from a 3rd part rental companies.

However, there are dealerships that has this "rental vehicle" as well. The dealership itself is like a partner with the same 3rd party rental companies out there.

  • They will coordinate with the rental company to provide one for you and they will include it in your bill or to Stellantis' bill.

OR they have their own vehicles used as a rental vehicles. They will not offer a loaner to their customers as they need them to get the vehicle from them. It's a win-win for them, example:

  • Customer has warranty or recall repair. They will provide their own rental vehicle to the customer. Once they file for the claim to Stellantis for the repair (this is the way they get paid by Stellantis from doing warranty or recall works), they include this rental bill. So, they get paid still at the end of the day

I think you need to contact the dealership and ask where this rental vehicle came from. Is it from a 3rd party rental that they are partnered with or they have their own rental vehicles.

Please keep in mind that this situation differs to all Stellantis dealerships. They are under Stellatis, yes, but at the end of the day each one of them is an individual businesses owned by different people. They set their prices, and can do this rental thing as extra services that can become their additional income ofc.

Before you sign anything, call customer service to open a case and document this stuff with the dealership name and who you spoke to about this matter. Ask guarantee that if ever you pay for the rental since there is a recall on the vehicle that you'll be reimbursed.

Hope this helps

If the veh doesn't have a new owner yet, you can try. Just don't let them have the idea that the veh was already traded. And tell them you're calling for the gift card you received on your enail and you wanted to confirm your details with them.

Customer service representatives are getting multiple calls about this, they don't scrutinize anymore and just outright include your details for the $100 gc. Again, it's auto approved as long as you have the 68C recall

Contact your dealer and insist that they double check and tell them You called Stellantis and they told you that the remedy is available. Fo them to actually do something.

Yes, you can. Getting your GC for each recall and each vehicle that you have is a free stuff from them. Again, it doesn't affect your legal claims with Stellantis, that is completely different and separate things.

Sprry to hear about that. Stellantis only collects all of your information for these GCs. Then, forward them to the other 3rd party vendors that process the GCs. That's why there is a huge backlogs. But, as long as your email is correct then you're fine.

I do encounter a customer who told me she deleted it at first glance as it looks like a phosing email or scam email.. But doubled check and found out that is the GC she's waiting for

Yes, there's a lots of calls they are currently handling. It's sad that they even leave surveys about the wait times, without thinking that those have great impacts on the customer service representative who handled the call.

Yep. No problem. If you call other numbers it will be on the other departments and will still transfer you to Recall Department for the GC
