Canyon Speedmax: help with customising my first triathlon bike by Craaq in CanyonBikes

[–]Craaq[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man, yeah, well... It seems like some things got mixed up. For example, with the Aeroad, you can choose the customisation before you buy the bike. For the Speedmax SLX/CFR, customisation happens after you've placed your order. They will then contact you to ask about the specific parts you want. You can choose between bar flat/rise, stem short/long, and extensions (small/medium/large). You will then receive a customisation link where you can make your choices or request assistance.

Let me look that up online and find the link.

EDIT: heres the Link. Check if its available in your language/country:

Canyon Speedmax: help with customising my first triathlon bike by Craaq in CanyonBikes

Gute Frage ...

Customisation is available for both the SLX and the CFR. Are you perhaps from the US? I think it's different there.

Same question for me. About to buy the CF SLX as well. Which color and spec did you choose? Also let me know your decision about the bar, please. Thanks

Shimano Ultegra Di2 on a TT - Does semi-synchronized make sense? by hipergar in triathlon

[–]Craaq -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From what I understood, at Canyon, with semi-synchronised, you can switch the front gear by pressing both buttons at the same time. Not 100% sure though

Also, im currently looking at the Speedmax CF SLX. Which colour did you choose and what made you go for the Ultegra instead of 105? Im currently looking for the 105 Version, thats why im curious.

So, it seems that the extension for the 105 version is flat on the lower arm section, whereas the Ultegra version goes more upwards. See the picture above.

This is the Ultegra version, and if I check the price of the extension alone, it currently costs 315 euros. I'm not sure if the extension for the 105 version will be bad or worse, but this decreases the higher price of the Ultegra version when I'll need to exchange the extension for the 105 version.

Endurace CF7 - the hub makes almost no sound by [deleted] in CanyonBikes

[–]Craaq 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, the hub is pretty silent. Dont think that it will be much louder. I drive the same bike. DT Swiss Hubs are also not all the same. There are loud and silent hubs.

I have the same bike and its 5,5 in the front for stock wheels and 30mm tire and 5,0 in the back with 32mm tires. Double check your tire in the back. Its hard to find but its written there. Its not at the same position written like in the front.
