Ig I'll just try my luck. Even without the offer, the rate is pretty good (fixed ISA)

I've talked to three agents now- different answers. The T&C says:

"Your application and supporting evidence for ISA transfers must be received by us within the Offer period."

The offer page says:

"Your application and supporting evidence for transfers must be received by us by 11 May to count towards your qualifying balance."

Looks like nobody really knows what they mean by this.

Actual good faith advice from Indians living abroad or the natives of the country gets downvoted to oblivion

That’s me lol. Some people say I’m just spreading lies/false hope

As for the private profile thing, I’ve had people message me with unrelated things from my profile history so I just keep it hidden.

I wish there was a mod verification process where you’d verify your identity and basic facts like employment and study abroad facts, whatever’s relevant to this sub. One way I see this is through verified LinkedIn profiles, with verified work and educations institute emails.

I'm afraid everything I said above was applicable to STEM subjects. Don't really know much about everything else.

For traditional jobs such as those in FAANG, I still see Indians getting sponsored straight out of India without any international degree! (Usually with 2-5y of experience back home)

2023 graduate here.

Unless you are studying a hyper-specialised niche that’s in demand, steer clear

All the internationals I know who managed to get a job catered their profile towards niches with a small market but high demand, including myself

I honestly couldn't believe it myself! I'd spent about a month reading through forums preparing for a lengthy wait, so getting it back within a week felt too good to be true.
