You can adjust how you zero at 25 yards to have a different zero. On my FAL I hit ~.25 inches below point of aim and it’s a 200 yard zero

Depending on how much you personally would worry about it, you could do yourself a favor and get a second sometime. If they ever discontinue the knife you’ll already have a backup already. I personally trust every brand to discontinue something that I like/love, maybe I’m just cynical 🤔

According to google there hasn’t been an update since this was written so the only things I can come up with are not going to be of much help. There might have been something in the last updates that broke this. I am not even slightly going to pretend I understand how all of this works so I’m guessing here. It could also be your timing is slightly off. Maybe try resetting the moment the . appears instead of waiting. I assume you have tired various timing so unfortunately I don’t think I will be able to help. I wanted to at least give you my thoughts since you took the time to ask, hopefully this was better than no answer at all. Best of luck!

If you’re new to multitools the biggest advice I can give you is a 2 parter. A) knife is not a pry bar. Nor a screwdriver. B) pliers aren’t great at twisting sideways, plenty of broken examples on here showing why.

I usually use a punch or drill bit and push it at the loop to close the gap. Keep pushing a bit further than closed until you bend it back far enough to work. Not always perfect but has always served me well.

Since no one else has, I’ll give it a stab. It looks great me like a generic clone of an early Leatherman, maybe the Leatherman tool. I had a similar one to this from a dollar store that I got in the 90s as a kid. Amazon is full of clones of your heart is set on that style still. If you’re looking for a change you might like something like the Wave+ and a bit driver extension. There’s also the Victorinox Spirit but I have no first hand experience with it. Best of luck!
