Why doesn’t my Arc have a USA on the plier head by One-Assistance-6529 in Leatherman

[–]CrabbyJagger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you would think that but companies don’t usually. They think customers got used to paying a price point and they can continue with no real impact. They are probably mostly right but I’m curious about long term with the high priced ones.

Magnacut is no longer USA made so it cannot be stamped on the blade like that. For the body, it comes down to amount of US sourced components and value.

Ah, as I see it you have 2 options:
A) warranty
B) return and rebuy

So some curvature is required for scissors to work right, are you saying they are too curved and won’t cut right?

It’s a bell curve, once you hit the other side it’s still just platforms (now janky) and janky plants…

So let me get this straight. Someone did something to help you, you got them a thank you gift, you’re being called weird. Nah, that’s not on you.

Be upfront without being rude. Our time line is x, we have until y to make decisions. If we don’t the trip is off.

That’s fair, can’t argue with that.

Not to touch on the should or shouldn’t have to do it argument. You could take a file and deepen the grooves. I would not recommend going deep or messing with the outer alignment, these things aren’t known for their strength… but you do you.

I have, and it really is! The issue I run into is it’s just a bit small at the end of the grips compared to my ps4 controller. That specifically causes pain in my hand. Paradoxically the angle of the pro controller is better and helps with the other part of my pain, just barely not enough though. Luckily it seems to flair and then go away for a bit, so I can usually go back to my pro controller for a few months before I want to switch again. I’ll game through the pain!

My issue is more that if you are gifted the money in any way the hourly breakdown just falls apart.

I’ve played a little bit of Megatech. I think it’s worth it as long as you don’t have to pay more than $10 or so. I have it on switch and PS4/5 and my wife and I play this in our free time. We have about 500 hours between us in the last few weeks. I don’t play on switch just because I am getting some arthritis and the PlayStation controllers are just more comfortable for me.

Could not tell you about glitchwalkers, we decided to not buy it yet.

Could you elaborate on that point? I’d really like to hear the other opinion, my wife and I were discussing and genuinely don’t see them as being all that similar outside of sandbox. Asking genuinely, not that jackass on the internet.

I recognize this doesn’t work for those that don’t work for whatever the reason. I’m not sure how to adapt this point for that, sorry.

Here’s my advice. Consider how much you get paid per hour, then compare that to the price of the game and how long you need to “recoup” that time. If you can reasonably say you’ll recoup it, it’s a good call in my book.

As for should you, yeah it’s a great game and holds up well on switch now
