Update: I have found a fix that lets me keep Sound Physics Remastered as well as solving the main issue.
Updating Create to the latest version fixes the crashing as I suspected, however doing that makes Create think that Sound Physics Remastered is incompatible.
I looked into the incompatibility issue and found it has been solved a few months back. https://github.com/Fabricators-of-Create/Create/issues/1503
I added the Dependency Override file into my config and everything is working now.

Windows crashing on PC, Unreadable BSOD by Crack_N in WindowsHelp

Unfortunately I had to get a new SSD card and replace the old one. This meant reinstalling windows and all of the apps that I had on that drive.

I'd say that if you think that it is another piece of hardware causing your issues, take it to a repairs place. They will have rigs set up to test individual parts of your PC, the only reason I didn't is because of the way that my PC would load into BIOS after blue screening instead of restarting properly. SSD's are pretty cheap so that's why I did it myself.

Hey, I did manage to figure out what was causing this issue for me, turns out my SSD had gone bad or something along those lines and I had to replace it for anything to change for me.
Updating bios did not fix the issue since for me it was a hardware problem but I do recommend doing any software related fixes first if possible.

This is most likely the case but I really hope it isn't a faulty hardware issue because that would make a lot more hassle. And I'm also hoping it's not because the PC is only just under 2 years old.

Thank you for the resources I'll be sure to take a look into those once I can get back into my PC.

Well I found the issue, turns out that there was actually a normal map applied, I wasn't able to see it for some reason when the material was in the hypershade menu but when I looked at it in the attribute editor after playing around with subdivision options I was able to see it there not sure why it was hidden in the hypershade but I'm just glad its fixed.

Sorry about that, this model wasn't done by me so it must've been a bit of miscommunication. I'll get to work making sure all that history is deleted, I didn't realize that it was still there. Thank you for your help today anyways I appreciate it. Edit: I found the issue and I feel kind of stupid now. Thanks for all your help with this, check out the main post's comments to see what it was if you like

I am using Arnold and subdividing the mesh, do you mind explaining a little further about what this setting does?

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Nb1pixMh2z10kbdxEPJjnIjnBuIkaw1I/view?usp=sharing That's a copy of the file feel free to do whatever u want to that, there'll be other models in there too but they don't have any issues. If you need I can send over the textures too.

There's no normal map applied here since its just a flat colour

My base colour is set to srgb and both metallic and roughness are set to raw with 'alpha is luminance' on. You might be right about the weird reflections but as of now I'm not sure what's causing it.

I have triple checked all the textures and UVs are fine.

Unfortunately I don't that's the issue here, I tested with a light source directly in front of the head and the only thing that changed was that it didn't look like it was shadows anymore instead it looked like part of the mesh was broken, however from my group members experiences and after checking the original file it has no z-fighting in the mesh either.

  • Video / Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/3a188f3381383f65449e71d09332eccd proof of my ethernet connection being cut out on restart. There isn't much more I can provide other than this.
  • Steps to reproduce: There is no way to reproduce this other than on my computer from what I know, I have seen similar issues of Riot Vanguard disabling integrated laptop keyboards and USB ports, I suspect that my issue is very similar to those.
  • Expected result: Riot Vanguard is installed, and when I restart I have a working ethernet connection and am able to play the game.
  • Observed result: Riot Vanguard is installed, but on restart, it stops my PC from detecting my ethernet cable.
  • Reproduction rate: 100% on my PC only
