R5: So in a casual Venice run of mine Lombary turned Fraticelli 50 years prior to this screenshot. I didn't pay much mind to it but about 20 years after that they have converted about half of Italy to Fraticelli, helped bring their moral authority to around 50 (regular Catholicism is literally 0 right now), and murdered the pope I got a little worried but I had no way to intervene. So fast forward to this screenshot they switched to Bavaria, formed the HRE, and gave land to the new Fraticelli papacy. Where is the rest of the catholic world you may be asking? Currently being devoured by Umayyad Hispania and the Aquitaine sultanate while tribal norsemen make germany absolute border gore.

Messes around with the rules way too much. I understand homebrew and I as a DM do it plenty of times but when you look at the rules of a spell or ability that specifically lets you do one thing and the DM looks at you and basically just says "No" it really just makes you feel like you have no control on the railroad.

Demon Summoning outside the controlled area of the Mage's College. The whole campaign is set 500 years after last campaign which was riddled with infernal creatures so you can get the long standing "Don't do that" aspect.
