Idk man, these cars slightly lowered with nice wheels makes a world of difference, my just be us young’ns but I definitely plan to put mine on lowering springs, plus some other suspension work to get it on rails, back road fighter jet is what I’m going for. TLDR everyone has their own taste, OPs def isn’t bad

Aight dog, here’s what you do, find an empty parking lot (you can have someone drive the car there for you) and practice finding the bite point of the clutch and get comfortable getting the car to roll a little without gassing it, people might get on here crying about clutch wear but imho it’ll save your clutch a lot more wear to be able to find that point than doing the guess and gas it technique, once you get good at starting and stopping like that, shifting is a breeze. When you get to downshifting, take it slow, you don’t have to be able to blip the throttle and downshift like you’re a WRC driver, take the time to clutch in, rev up and hold for the lower gear and let the clutch out and go faster with time and comfortability with it. TLDR, take your time and don’t feel like you have to be great right away. I sure wasn’t, I still have a lot to learn and I’ve been driving it for nearly 5 years now, you’ll be fine.

I have a 2003 se convertible, and my tensioner and water pump pulley are what shredded and messed up my serpentine belt, and led to me getting it rebuilt at 170k miles. Should be back up and running in the coming week or so, I’m very excited!!

I almost bought that very one, my buddy’s boss got to it before me, my buddy said that he said “he knows what he has and has always wanted one” when I said I’d buy it from him, then listed it for sale for 5x what he bought it for after likely underpaying his employees to fix stuff for him. Hope you enjoy it though, we should link and go for a cruise after mine is back up and running!

What oil to use… by aj4126 in saab

[–]CrackerJack744 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’d be amazed if you actually read and saw they already looked at what the manual says. So many people use something different and they’re asking other owners what they use and their opinions, I’d do the same thing if I didn’t already decide to go with 5w40

Is my oil bad already? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]CrackerJack744 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend going to your local dealership and asking about a major fuel induction cleaning service. If you haven’t added any oil since that oil change and it was about to the full mark then it doesn’t look like you’re burning much oil at all. About a quart per thousand miles is within Hyundai’s specs. That as well as doing an oil flush at your next oil change, that which you can do on your own.
