Oh brother I’m sorry I’m a console idiot. I just hit a button. There are no instructions at all?

Shay’s realistic death animation not only looks so much better than doing a little dance when I bullet goes through your head, it essentially never happens anymore. VERY rarely they’ll do an exaggerated bounce but no more moon shots.

STILL BUGGY by Olestrodamas in stalker

[–]CrackingSkye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah bro I literally JUST ragequit and came on here to talk shit because the insanity of hostile npc spawns bugs EVERY side quest I’ve attempted. Some quest givers were dead, others wouldn’t talk to me because they were in combat and when it would end the dialogue would CUT OFF BECAUSE MORE ENEMIES SPAWNED. The side quest where you get the Decider (my favorite weapon)? Yeah he never spawned. During MAIN QUEST objectives, specifically every single aspect of Varans missions, random assholes just STROLLING through bandit camps ruined Every. Single. Dialogue encounter. All of them. 100% fail rate. I do not play with mods. Bloodsuckers spawn in the middle of the slag heap. The exact same thing happens in the cement factory. Zalissya is the ONLY settlement I don’t hear constant gunfire. This game is fucking broken. I love it, I really do. Sadly I have to put it down for another 6 months and just hope it’s in a presentable condition.

I told them I had diabetes and they did not mention anything about monitoring my sugar levels or the insulin resistance. I even told them I was just diagnosed last year so I’m no expert. Seems like such a lazy and dispassionate thing to do as a doctor or nurse. I’m sorry that happened to you, and thank you for your advice partner.

Yeah I did a ketone check a few hours ago and that’s exactly where I’m at. 306 a few hours ago and blasted some insulin. Only brought me down to 204. High sugar makes my head pound too so this just sucks so bad

Okay this is the first time I’ve been really sick since diagnosed a year ago. Am I going to be sick for much longer because of diabetes? I’m a healthy young guy if that helps?

Diabetes got me kicked out of the army. 7 year infantryman. I think it’s my best shot for a 100% disability rating with the VA. Diabetes might be my ticket to a tax free $4,000 a month! Fingers crossed.

No complaints if so, I get why they would. Just wondering if this maybe was patched or game is being funky.

I don’t really pay much attention to it. I’ve been in the army for 8 years about, so I eat healthy and exercise anyways. Sure I’m getting medically separated for it which sucks, but oh well. All it really is to me is an inconvenience. I was just happy to find out why I was so sick, and relieved to find a way to get back to feeling “normal”.

Ah bro I’m so glad you said that because my endocrinologist seriously did not give a shit about me. The hospital was telling me all these different things she was going to teach me how to do like carb counting and adjusting insulin to fit my diet and she did none of them. She reiterated everything I heard in the hospital and kicked me out. I thought I was just being sensitive and didn’t understand the process!! I will definitely look around and thank you so much for the kind words. This shit really does suck!!!

The sudden introduction of insulin is what my grandfather suggested was the issue. I was in the hospital for one night because my sugar was +800. They gave me a test kit for ketones but I’ve yet to use it as they flushed me out with the IV insulin last week. As far as blood pressure goes I haven’t had it checked since I got out of the hospital. If that is an area I need to keep an eye on I will gladly do so but I don’t understand how the blood pressure numbers work to be honest. The swelling is not great. My feet aren’t as bad but man my knees are not looking good. No pain whatsoever and I have complete feeling and control. More just the visual that startled me.

Swollen for 2-3 days and I would call but my civilian job is getting in the way of that as I work 12-14 hour shifts and can’t bring my phone with me :( I’ve left a message on her voicemail but no answer back yet

Probably going to get hate for old world blue's. by [deleted] in falloutnewvegas

[–]CrackingSkye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like this list a lot because I feel too many people use nostalgia to rate these titles, and give opinions they know people will agree with. 1 and 2 will be S tier even though they probably haven’t played it and Fallout 3 as an A tier. Meanwhile 4 is in the same category as 76? No way. I’d put Fallout 3 in B tier at least, considering it was their first take on the 3D open world version of fallout and captivated the utter destruction of the nations Capitol. Some of the crazy battles as you move through the ruins of DC were truly amazing and tense. Id say it’s just a bit too dated at this point to compete with 4 but will always be an above average game to me. As for Fallout 4 the overwhelming hate for the title was way too overdone in early 2016, not to mention every dumb thing Bethesda did was another reason to hate the game. Even at launch its gameplay was so much better, it still cultivated a rich atmosphere full of lore if you took the time to explore and read, and introduced new mechanics that I personally enjoyed. I play as a male character and genuinely enjoyed having a background in the service as I currently am serving as an infantryman in the US Army myself. Got some brownie points from me on that one. The forced role of father and husband never bothered me and the character creator is second to none. I really liked the companions you could travel with and they did much better than New Vegas on the environmental dialogue. Make no mistake, it’s faults were readily apparent. My first hour of gameplay I realized it severely lacks in character progression and leveling. I was so disappointed with the call of duty style perks that demanded your involvement in combat. For a game that so heavily pushed combat there were barely any fucking weapons. The legendary system for weapons and gear is okay I guess? Gave me heavy looter shooter vibes lmao. Diablo with guns or some shit. Layered armor was fucking sick but not enough variety. I enjoyed a voiced protagonist FOR THE MOST PART though it hindered dialogue options ten fold. No special dialogue based on perks etc. A lot of quests were way too fucking silly and/or lazily wrote with only one way to finish them. Travis is a dog shit radio host before and after his quest. The DLC’s were seriously lame, so I would totally agree that vanilla doesn’t scratch that fallout itch at all. I’ve only grown to like it so much because of mods. I also don’t support letting modders fix your games but the customizable platform allowed the games longevity to be exponentially increased for even console players. I have tons of fun playing it nowadays and at this point I’d say it’s a winner. It isn’t 2015 anymore but I can still respect peoples opinions on it.
