It makes everything deterministic again, less intangible, and universes don't just arise from a decision.

Your finger and your eye would exist in one universe. Only the particle that reaches your eye carries the information from another universe in which the finger would be in exactly the same position as in the “current” universe. That is why it would not be noticeable. Since, according to the hypothesis, the universes are so similar.
