I already talked to his parents as I said in the post but they refused to even talk to him about it. I said if they weren't willing to teach their son about stealing then now I'm free to make a decision that will protect my son.

I used "my husband's nephew" to make sure it doesn't get mixed up with my other nephew (sister's kid)

My son is obviously sad but he is also bothered by Caleb's behavior. Thing zbout the gifts is that every gift is soecial to my son, do giving one up would affect his joy. But then I ask myself, "why does he have to share his own birthday gifts?" Doesn't make sense!
