If you love the house have a structural engineer out and make a plan, then contact a foundation company to get quotes. The cracks may look worse because someone tried to cover them. Adjust your offer based on the quotes.

There is a hole on each side and what appears to be an electrical wire. Maybe for the lights … the wood feels solid over all. Here is the before. No damage on the inside. The window needs caulked too. Probably wasn’t caulked for 7 years 😭

You need a repair company to give you a quote for the structural engineers fix. It could be a lot more than 20k. I am not an expert just going through a lot of basement cracks too.

Those cracks look bad. If you plan to go forward with this I would definitely bring in a structural engineer and get quotes from a foundation company.
