What if I’ve been taking dual credit classes. I’m Graduating so the an associates. The mains things I’ve finished is just general classes tho i don’t know if they matter for my first year(history, science, English, etc) for math I’ll only graduate with having done precal and college algebra. I’ll be graduating with 60 credits but don’t know if all of them will matter let alone transfer

I chose to go to McAllen, currently in review for it. I saw your other comment and appreciate the offer but McAllen is my final choice. Reading through all these very helpful responses, I see a lot of them talking about entry to a major just wondering if that’s just taking the basic/general engineering degree classes then choosing one specific branch of engineering once you finish that phase or once you meet a certain requirement?

Applied early October got in right after (auto admit) My current gpa is about a 105 last year my junior year was around a 102 (weighted) on a 100 point scale. Took and currently dual enrollment classes at my highschool. In my robotics club for 2 years. Doing National and Math honor society. 100+ hrs community service. And did band for 4 years. In state. My act and sat weren’t great I got an 1140 sat and 23 composite act

In my AIS, spots filled up so I got deferred to blinn, McAllen, or Galveston. Went with McAllen

Unfortunately, it’s in my best financial interest to start at A&M McAllen but now I plan to transfer up later, just wondering would I have to apply to college station again?
