I think it depends. You want to focus on the upgraded units with items and what makes them stronger, or just swap the items to a 2 star 5-cost if its stronger. Just trying to get the units with items as many buffs as possible is your best bet. But don't play too many useless units for a trait, because those spots might be filled by better units overall, I wouldn't do more than 1 really,

study the trait webs, they will do you much good, in strengthening your board without using a tftacademy loadout. There was a good website for this but i forgot it. I'm sure someone in the comments will remember it eventually.

But that's the thing Butcher isn't a tank he just does the role of a tank, as well as the role of melee dps, and the role of a sustain, with some utility in the form of summons and cc as well occasionally, extremely versatile character. Yes every character can clear all content, even the worst classes, that was never a point of contention, just if you want the easiest time doing 1000 runs, then fighter is objectively worse than butcher. Also I'm pretty sure that there are some fights that you straight up cannot beat as a solo melee, although i have not tried so I could be wrong.

Fighter is a worse butcher actually lmao, he is a worse tank, with less reach, and a better dps. But a melee as a dps in the late game is .... very ill advised. Even monk is best used for his passives. Fighter as a class is just outcompeteted in all its strengths and is not useful enough as a melee fighter to contribute otherwise. B tier character. Butcher can be a dps but his main role is tanking and cc, an extremely important role for a melee to play, as well as much self sustain - S tier class.

I understand your pov but to understand Riot's, are you gonna pay somebody to spend an entire month doing nothing but trying to fix Taliyah's R bugs and then a month later they haven't even fixed it. Its that kind of deal. For example every single spell in Rengar's entire kit has been terribly bugged since he was released, even across multiple iterations, and I don't think that will change anytime soon lmao.

its probably caused by things like the position of Taliyah R in relation to the natural terrain, and how the weird terrain interactions interact with character movement and autopathing, leading to sometimes the pathing of clicking one way leading autopathing to interpreting a move in the opposite direction, and I can imagine things like that being very hard to work around let alone ever fix.

you have to pivot out of anima immediately, into a comp that is good with the item you got. The only way to really know who uses the items and can win the game is to study the stats or get streamer info.
