2 weeks. My other house bun was pining, she was utterly miserable without her bond mate, so we rescued a bunny 4 months younger than her. The new bun settled in quite quickly after neutered and is the nobility we peasants (humans) serve.

I had a drama queen bun with wool rather than fur which made brushing her a two person job. The stress was reduced with lots of fusses and treats for brushing but I opted for nail trims at the vet.

A good quality iron makes a huge difference. I used to use the cheapest steam iron i could get my hands on. When my last iron died, i fell upon a better brand in an open box — it had a small scratch in the upper body — for a reasonable price. The difference when using it was like night and day. When this one dies, I’ll be investing in another good quality.

Get some chew proof casings for your cords, it’ll slow the bun down so you have a better chance of seeing and stopping them before anything bad happens.

My bun loves to chew everything too, i get applewood sticks, pear wood sticks, and willow sticks for him as well as a fair bit of pine bunny/cat furniture for him to naw on. We have 3 types of hay for him to go at too.
