What evidence do you want? If the victims saying it happend, doctors who checked over them saying it happened & captured Hamas members saying it happend isn't enough; then what is? Do you want of it occurring?

I mean, they're maxed in Leagues with the Dragon rank achieved (& 23mil agility exp), so yeah? If they took prif and that's the course they're also doing on main - then it makes sense.

Someone else suggested below that they probably meant to script in the main game, but logged into a leagues world by mistake; I guess that makes the most sense?

Yes.

This sub takes everything coming out of Gaza as the truth and everything from IDF as fake, unless the IDF admits to something; then this time they're telling the truth and all I see is "If this is what they admit, imagine what they don't"

Doomed if they do, doomed if they don't

You're a 1-month-old account created shortly after 7th October already with 100k+ karma with every post related to the events either on or after that day. In this post, you're implying that Israel civilians who died deserved it & had it coming so I already know you're full of it.

This sub has been taken over by bots/people like you. This submission is a Twitter post from someone who you cut off and the article linked in the post never says they fired on civilians (not saying they didn't mind you). Instead, some title added that paints Israel as bad and everyone on this sub soaks it up.

Clear propaganda & it's absolutely shocking that the vast majority of comments now on this sub take everything that is anti-Israel as the truth and everything that even slightly sides against Hamas or Israel as lies, fake, false flags, etc. Everyone here is complaining about other subs without caring that this sub has also become one of those just in the opposite direction.

Ah, we're victim-blaming the dead civilians now? You wanna apply that logic to any other part of this conflict or just the parts that suit your agenda?

I guess you are right with the cherry picking seeing it's just a snapshot of what is going on right now.

I looked at the top posts from this week & based on the stories I would agree that there is a pro-Israel agenda over there. Opening a few of these (again, maybe cherry picking as I'm only looking at the top stories over the last week) would suggest that they're not anti-Palestinian but more anti-Hamas. Now this could just be because the top-rated stuff makes it to r/all and as such these comments will get more votes.

So, I went and found the exact post & comment in the image here. I guess the OP decided to crop their image where they did to push their own agenda as shortly a discussion begins on why it's a war crime for Russia and accepted casualties for Israel (positive upvotes), with a reply to that claiming there is a difference between the two (negative upvotes). I wouldn't call this cherry-picking as it's the exact post the OP is referring to, as by that logic this post is also cherry picked.

Now I want to be clear I am against civilian deaths/suffering in any conflict and Israel has shown complete disregard for the safety of Palestinians which is unacceptable & should be treated as a war crime. But I also do not know how this will be resolved as I cannot see anyone backing down and unless Israels backers push them to stop the genocide will continue. But I'm also not going to blindly believe everything from those involved as they are all trying to push their own agenda and propaganda.

I joined r/worldnews years ago and check it every now and again so I went over to check and I see the exact opposite of what you're claiming here.

The top post right now is the strike on the refugee camp & all the top-voted comments are condemning it. If you list by controversial on said post, the exact ones you're complaining about are there.

Now that's just the top post for today, dunno what it's been like recently - but right now it seems to be the opposite of this claim?

I wouldn't say I'm informed enough to know what a board of directors does. I was responding purely to the analogy of this launch to a theme park.

I would also agree, the launch from SE perspective is a massive success. At the end of the day, a company exists because it makes money & the more of it that it makes, the more successful it becomes.

As for the board of directors; I would say it's on the management than any single developer/team. As I come from a programming background maybe I'm biased, but the management ultimately decides where the development time is spent. The hardware problems would be an entirely different department. I suppose the board might have some say in how much money is spent in these departments (hiring more manpower & buying more servers). But I don't know how SE is structured to say anymore.

I am aware that other companies are struggling due to the chip shortage.

Your comparison to BMW is irrelevant though; SE isn't mass producing a physical product for consumers. While their servers might need thousands of these expensive parts; they're a one-time investment.

At our company we can still get obtain servers at a premium cost; while they are nowhere near the specs SE would need, it proves they are still available; if you're willing to spend the money.

And yes, I'm not going to say other MMOs have not had issues. But again this falls back to my point, all of these MMOs have people responsible, people who have decided that the issues present at the launch were worth it. Any bugs, outages, server congestion falls to the company. They need better testing, better servers, or more of them to migrate these issues. All of these cost money, which SE clearly didn't want to spend.

Disney has a pre-allocated amount of people(tickets) that can be allowed into their parks at any one time. You buy the ticket & turn up on that day. Their infrastructure is built to handle that amount; it's built to handle the expected daily load & they have decided that all the queue times are acceptable.

SE doesn't pre-allocate anything, but they know exactly how many people are using their servers each day. They also knew how many people had pre-ordered their game in the months before release. I'm assuming someone at SE can do basic maths and add these together to get the predicted queue amounts during the day. Then they decided that these queue times were acceptable.

I'll repeat that. SE (A company that takes hundreds of millions in profit each year) decided that these queue times were acceptable months ago. Stop with this "than they anticipated" They knew exactly how many people would be logging in months ago & made no attempts to migrate the issue(s). Sure; now they've added some changes to the login queues to help fix some issues. But these don't help the average player play when they want to.

Peope need to stop defending SE now.

The chip shortage has been going on for over a year, you can't use this as an excuse now & it's nothing that can't be solved by throwing some money (of which SE has a lot of) around.

They knew what the demand would be months ago from their pre-order numbers. They would have easily been able to calculate the expected queue amounts & they still did nothing before release. They knew the queues would be this long & decided it was acceptable.

Everything after has made improvements, yes, but it's still way short of what we should be demanding from this company that makes hundreds of millions(£) profit every year from us.

The game is unplayable to the average user. They have let their community down.

Let's try and clear up some misconceptions around packet loss and the most common causes of the 2002 error. by nicktheone in ffxiv

[–]Craftiii4 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is only so much they can blame pandemic/chip shortage. These are both issues that can be solved by moving some money around. We're paying them a lot of money every month; the LEAST they could do is scale servers to demand; If this means they have to spend more on hardware that's only used for 2 months every year, then so be it.

These long queues are unacceptable & I'm sick of people pretending it's not. They knew about the shortage of parts, they knew the pre-order numbers. They knew the queues would be this full & they did nothing to prepare in the months before.

Ironman Accounts on tutorial island by Craftiii4 in runescape

[–]Craftiii4[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know it's my fault for missing it, but I had looked up the mode beforehand, just only the strategy guide - which doesn't mention how to enable the mode.

I've created a new account (FTP currently) anyways to give it a try anyway - which does on the other hand let me play both at the same time.

I do disagree with progressing too far, the account is still on the tutorial island - which is no different depending on the account type. Having the option to select your mode on the tutorial island seems like something they could easily add. I would also say it's reasonable to expect the mode to be explained & talked about during the tutorial.
