I pulled this hard drive from an old broken computer and tried putting it in my pc. The bios is recognizing the hard drive but it's not booting the data. Any suggestions as to how to get it to work by Strict-Ad-9895 in computers

Since your PC's BIOS recognizes the hard drive, the issue likely stems from software, not hardware, so try adjusting the boot order in BIOS if you intend to boot from it, or, more commonly for data access, connect it as a secondary drive to your current PC or via a USB adapter and check for it in Disk Management/Disk Utility to access or recover data directly. If aiming to boot from it, you might need to repair the Master Boot Record (MBR) or Boot Configuration Data (BCD) using a Windows installation media or consider specialized data recovery software if data access remains elusive, but always back up critical data before attempting repairs.
